its so complicated we are messed up oh come on we are death alredy lets just keep living till we die and thats all our kidz doesnt have future we just need to dont have kidz if you want to die happy giving to your kid a cold world with mean people.... <-- ok that was stupid but//// just lets think we still have time we can change world even in a 1 second of time out of life
There is no "global temp"; temps are measured locally. Averages mean nothing because 80 anywhere on the planet will not melt ice where it's below 32. Remember grade school science? Climate is determined by distance from the sun (and solar flare activity), tilt of the earth on its axis, rotation of the planet and its orbit; sometimes there is wobble in the orbit which affects the climate. There is also volcanic activity: See "Fire Under Arctic Ice: ScienceDaily (June 26, 2008)"
You don't need an electric car to get good mileage. My brother had a new car in the early 80's; the sticker had it rated at 48mpg. It ate regular gas and it wasn't as small as the itty bitty things they are coming out with now.
When temperatures increase we will also see fewer cold-deaths which actually more people die from today than those who die from rapidly warming temperatures.
Food resources will be stressed but NOT because of the global warming because that will make HUGE parts of Russia, Greenland and Canada avalible for agriculture. Food resources will be stressed because of the expanding population.

Much more balanced than any other climate guru out there.
Agree! But every time I keep saying this, people stare to me like if I was crazy! The thing is that we don't know how much new land suitable for ag will be available vrs. that amount lost due to climate change - may be some modelling can provide a clue?
And there is nothing that says that we can't farm in the desert. Egyptican farmers are beginning to farm in the middle of the desert with new farming techniques and if these techniques spread and we find out a way to refine salt water into fresh water for an affordable cost global warming could mean that we could make the Sahara Desert into a whole farming landscape.
A reptile's body tempurature can survive large changes. There are bateria and other life that can survive in extreme temperature environments. I'm not sure comparing the human body to the world is appropriate.
darkangel2327-you need to look into the faulty figures. There is no possible way they are accurate because they are missing 2/3s of the weather stations they had in the 70's, a large number of which were in Siberia. In order to be accurate, they should only be using the same stations that were in existence then. There is no "global temp". All temps are measured locally. A temp of 80 anywhere will not melt ice where it's below 32
nice, so i dont have to go to italy / spain or cuba for summer holidays, as it will be warm in germany in the next decades....

Oh NOES, 'we' must find a solution or else global warming will raep 'us'.
Quickly call the government we need a new carbon tax.
Seneka4295 3 years ago
BC, Canada already has carbon taxes for gasoline, diesel, and propane

i wish i could help more by buying an electric or hybrid car, but they are still very expensive.

is there any answers to prevent this global warming??
somoray09 3 years ago
yea...don't use fossil fuels.
buy a hybrid or a fully electric car to help.
or put solar panels on your house.
TheNeophyte13 3 years ago
I would load solar pannels all over my house, but they are very very expensive.

it's the long run that's important. you'd save money over time.

Yeah there probably is!

We just need a good energy source and that's it!

It doesn't matter which one we compare it to. The point is that we need to find a solution to global warming fast.
darkangel2327 3 years ago
Well I hardly think giving out misinformation helps any.
