Yes. Check out the laradio (dot) com / sdrp.htm site for a little history of the station that Don worked at before KEWB. Look under Bowman, Don. Sorry, but youtube must not like links in messages...
the paper companies are to blame for the hemp ban brothers and sisters..listen to a fine lecture on the subject by looking up(jello biafra grom more pot)
I'll check it out! When Don did this in the early 60's, it was quite risque! Who else was singing about that stuff? No one!!! Hey, Ya Gotta Love those Greys! Thanks for checking out TigerBird and Don Bowman
Funny thing is, you can. Hemp fuel burns cleaner and cheaper than petroleum, but let farmers make the energy profits? Hell no, big oil companies wouldn't stand for that.

Don was ahead of his time. If you were alive during the 60's, that statement takes on a whole new meaning!

Thanks for posting this! I posted a Wildwood Weed video also, sung by Jim Stafford. I never knew Don Bowman wrote it. 1964 wow, pot was cheap then!
PS Like your avatar, my wife and I have a Timneh Grey.
