Sir, if you don't mind, at least I'm not the whipped cream covered in cow manure. It is typical for those who reject a Godly moral lifestyle to try to find fault with the Bible in order to justify their immoral behavior. Like this video says, you are not listening to your conscience and may as well be jumping off a 50 story building. Jesus said that if you divorce your wife to marry another it is adultery. If the woman leaves her husband to marry another, she and ther person she marries are committing adultery. It's not justified just because you divorced before remarry
It takes two to marry but only one to divorce. The Bible says that if an unbeliever leaves, the believer is no longer bound. You cannot make someone else love you. When someone leaves the marriage, the other partner is no longer bound to the marriage. Some people leave a marriage just to go after someone else. Jesus said that when the other person mooits adultery, a person is no longer bound to the marriage. There are valid reasons to leave a marriage such as severe abuse or abandonment.

In a case like that, it is obviously good for the wife to get away from her husband. Her life is in danger.

Jesus was saying that to look for a reason to divorce in order to marry someone else is sin. That was his point in the passage. In other words, Jesus was condemning the practice of divorcing for any and every reason. If your wife burned the toast, the religious leaders would use that as an excuse to divorce and marry someone they had their eye on. That is adultery. Just because you divorce your spouse doesn't make it OK to marry someone else. But marital unfaithfulness could mean a whole host of evil things that your spouse is doing against God and against you.
There are vailid and seriouis reasons to get away from someone and without any evidence of change it is OK to marry someone else. If someone refuses to repent of evil, losing someone could be the thing that could turn them around.
i have "witnessed" a person that had a sex change who later REVERSED the sex change... they had received Jesus and got deliverance.

God took away my dad before I graduated from highschool. How could I ever love someone for that. I've accepted who I am, and God created me this way, just like he created Down Syndrome, right? RIGHT?

my dad died when i was 10 and my mom was in and out of hospitals since before i was born. i sometimes lived by myself when i was growing up. that's a lame excuse. when i saw how Jesus lived, i realized I needed to change. You have to stop having a self pity party and grow up. you need to start taking responsibliity for your life and realize that you need to start helping others and not be so selfish.

You know you have people in society who try to condone such acts because they practice it themselves. But we know its wrong and its a sin because its not pro life if you notice gods word is pro love and pro life. What do I mean? Homosexuallity is not pro love or pro life cause its sick not love and 2 people of the same sex cannot reproduce period. A man and a woman can love one another and can also reproduce thats what god intended.

Question: What about the good things homosexual people have given us. You focus on the Bible's point of view of homosexuality but to every bad side of every thing there is a good thing. All the orphans left but parents, kids that will not know what family love really is. Homosexual people have opened up there lives to adopt and help orphans find a home.

Homosexuality is a sin and you need to repent. Jesus paid your penalty so that if you repent, you get set free from your prison and condemnation. If you continue in your sin, you will pay the penalty.

Tgh, Homosexuality is clearly a sin both in the Bible and by the nature of things. Man's standards don't matter. When you stand before God on judgement day, what will matter is if you repented of your sins and trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyone has sinned and rebelled against God and fallen short of His standard. You must repent and return to God. He paid the penalty for your forgiveness.

It is typical for those who reject a Godly moral lifestyle to try to find fault with the Bible in order to justify their immoral behavior. Like this video says, you are not listening to your conscience and may as well be jumping off a 50 story building. Jesus said that if you divorce your wife to marry another it is adultery. If the woman leaves her husband to marry another, she and ther person she marries are committing adultery. It's not justified just because you divorced before remarry

It takes two to marry but only one to divorce. The Bible says that if an unbeliever leaves, the believer is no longer bound. You cannot make someone else love you. When someone leaves the marriage, the other partner is no longer bound to the marriage. Some people leave a marriage just to go after someone else. Jesus said that when the other person mooits adultery, a person is no longer bound to the marriage. There are valid reasons to leave a marriage such as severe abuse or abandonment.

Apparently you have not read the Bible. There is only ONE reason. Matthew 5:32 is pretty clear on this:
"But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery."
It is helpful when you preach about what is in the Bible, you actually know what is in the Bible. Don't you agree?

Matthew 5:32 is clear. I might agree that this allows the the person to "leave", but this says divorce and then remarry is adultery. The Greek "marital unfaithfulness" *could* mean any type of "sexual perversion", but unless the other persons get sexual gratification out of beating someone, it's obvious that is not a a valid reason here. See also Romans about this.
Romans 7:2 also says "when a woman marries, the law binds her to her husband as long as he is alive".

So what do you recommend to the person whose spouse has just tried to kill them? I believe you are wrong. what do you recommend to the spouse whose mate wants tthem to commit sin as a lifestyle? There are situatioins where a spouse must leave. You must use discernment.

The bible also says that if you are divorced and the other spouse remarries, you must never marry that person again because that is sin. In that case you are free to remarry. Muslims would say their wife is not allowed to leave on the basis of abuse because Islam teaches that it is OK and even good for a man to beat his wife. In a case like that, it is obviously good for the wife to get away from her husband. Her life is in danger.

In a secular society I would agree that the wife has the right to protect herself and leave the relationship, but that's not what the Bible says. It is pretty clear on that issue.

Well, if the abuser in a "believer" what does the Bible say? I know a lot of self-proclaimed Christians that are very violent. If they are both believers, the Bible clearly says, the wife is bound to her husband. If I am missing something, please quote me the appropriate passage and I am always willing to learn.

Jesus was saying that to look for a reason to divorce in order to marry someone else is sin. That was his point in the passage. There are valid reasons that the Bible points out for leaving a marriage.

In other words, Jesus was condemning the practice of divorcing for any and every reason. If your wife burned the toast, the religious leaders would use that as an excuse to divorce and marry someone they had their eye on. That is adultery. Just because you divorce your spouse doesn't make it OK to marry someone else. But marital unfaithfulness could mean a whole host of evil things that your spouse is doing against God and against you.

i have "witnessed" a person that had a sex change who later REVERSED the sex change... they had received Jesus and got deliverance.
i believe that homosexuality is demonic bondage and the Lord Jesus will deliver these people if they seek deliverance from homosexuality, same goes for all sinful addictions etc PTL JESUS SETS US FREE!!
