@GingerMuser The real question is why is she saying Am when she's actually playing Cm? Searched online for the chords and others are calling the G# a G. It usually helps speed up learning a song by doing a search, but sometimes it's nothing short of comical how people don't realize the difference between sharp's, flats, and what using a capo does to the name of their chord.

You don't need a capo. All the capo does is change the key of a song. The song will just be a little lower or a little higher however you look at it whether you're going up an octave or down and octave.
