I was debating getting these cams or the stage 1s, I hear you lose some low end power with these cams and the rev range goes past 6k. How do you like them? A decent increase in power?

H-pipes are the shit! The raspy sound only comes from x-pipes! Only thing I ever put an x-pipe on was my lightning because they are so deep to begin with.. Hope there's a power adder on this car or it has way more bark than bite!! I'd at least have nos on that bullet intake for sure!!

does it get kinda loud and raspy around 2500 rpm? or is that with just the o/r x pipe. i have a 2002 boss mustang with cold air intake and o/r x pipe slp loudmouth 1's and it gets really loud at 2500.

Interesting, sounds like around 700-750. I have my hitech stage IIs set around 850. My VRS X pipe, Mac LTs and magnapacks smooth out the sound of my cams. Your car sounds good!

My advice, bbk offers a 78mm it is a tb and plenum together for about $250

personally i wouldnt go over 75mm untill your over 300rwhp but thats just me...you want as much air velocity as possible and with the 75 it kinda slows it down

I did loose the louvers. but not because I didnt like them. Ive changed lots of things on it since then. I now have a saleen wing, smoked head and tail lights, 01 cobra bumer and deep dish black cobra wheels. thanks for the thumbs down

Yes it is reliable. I dont know the mpg. Ill let you you on that. I started off with just buying all the bolt ons. If you want to feel a noticable difference. My suggestion would be to get longtube headers and Gears. or just save and go F/A supercharge........ thats my next plan.

sorry about that. at the time of this video The exhaust set up was, CAM Longtube headers, Mac H Pipe with hi flow cats and L/M ! catback. Now it still has the CAM headers, VRS O/R X pipe with SLP L/M 2 catback.

no injectors? u should get new heads or port the stock ones. it would put u 320-340(with fingers croseed and a good tune)

thanks Trin00gt, but I still haven't tuned it. Its riding on a stock tune. no adjustment what so ever. runs great but dies out when I come to stops. Its usually parked. dont drive it very often. not until I get it dyno'd and tuned. Im going to go with SCT.its costing me about 600 just to dyno and tune. Im almost there, just a little more saving to do.

finally got it tuned. I went with SCT and Lethal Performance SATX did a great job. with just bolt ons and cams it did 289 whp and 288 torque. next are the heads. and maybe some funny gas. just maybe. who knows.
