If you wanted to speak of Roman descendants, then Spain and France would probably have been better, but since they mainly settled modern-day Mexico and Canada and you're trying to make the US look like the big bad wolf you're not going to use that fact since it wouldn't exactly fit in, but enough of that.
I actually stopped watching shortly after the "Well if both of them are supported in the bible then both are correct" bit, since that would include evidence that directly contradicts evidence.

Okay, let's have a small history lesson here.
Where did most of the modern American's ancestors come from? England (or the UK in general INCLUDING Ireland).
Where did the English come from? They were mostly either Saxons, Normans or were of the Angles folk (of which English is obviously inherited).
Sure, the Romans did settle the area, but that doesn't make all the people therefrom their descendants, so that point is moot.

There is no way I can accept America as being "Babylon" or "the beast". Our Pledge of Allegiance clearly includes a devout reference to God, as does our national motto; "In God We Trust".

I believe that the prophecies use the word "christian" in it's true form, those of Christ, those that follow the righteous path of Jesus, people that emulate him even without direct knowledge of the teachngs of christianity. The first thing that would raise one's eyebrow is the fact you mispronounced "Revelations"...it's in fact called 'Revelation'. This is in-and-of itself a minor mistake but usually the first telltale sign that the person saying it is more of a novice in matters of scripture and Christianity. America is not Babylon. In fact Babylon is actually Babylon. Saddam began rebuilding it before the Gulf war.
