great video i have a question for u. i skipper a 27 also and have problems rounding the leeward. when hoisting your chute what do u do with your jib, and since there is one cabin top winch on port and two on starboard how do you hoist the chute on port tack if the winch is becing used by the jib.
That was a fun race. We were DFL on the upwind leg with thoughts of bailing out. But we closed with our class at Double Bluff and then ripped on the downwind leg. We took Pt. No Point wide to the east and picked up a monster lift that pointed us right at Shilshole. We corrected to 1st and got bullets on the next two races as well. F-27's totally rock.
