  • Local anesthesia is for numbs the pain in one specific area, so you can still be awake and not feel anything. General anesthesia makes you sleep through the entire procedure.

  • yeah like when you get shots at the dentist and one side of your face is paralyzed for an hour or so haha. its entertaining

  • local is that you're awake in the entire procedure but don't feel anything on the site where surgery is to be done......general is that you're asleep all throughout the procedure...
