  • You should never keep any type of fungi in a plastic bag even for a short period of time. Even edible mushrooms can go toxic in plastic bags.

  • ok...finally catching up fredde lol. Looking good so far....on to the next one!

  • Thanks for sharing Fredde

  • Very nice shelter. I would like to see Part 2. And what type of mushrooms did you pick? How do you know if it's not poisonous to eat?

  • U vás na severu je ještě teplo a nepadá sníh a já si myslel, že máte chladnější klima než my ve střední evropě. Díky za ukázku moc se mi líbí.

  • Looking forward to the next part of the building.. always enjoy your shelters Fredde..

    thanks

    -Mitch

  • @Nativesurvival

  • That looks like it's going to be a nice shelter. Hope to see more if it. Take care my friend.

  • Your MORA is looking like its getting a bit small Fredde.... :-)

and it looks like your gonna have alot of mushroom soup...lol

    fredde

  • @hobbexp. Fredde, do you find it time consuming to clean the chanterelles? Also, when you freeze these mushrooms, do you saute them first?

    Mike

  • WTF is this!?

  • Good video! Always enjoy watching...

  • Fredde, your shelter videos are some of the best on Youtube.

  • Fredde, that thumbs down was likely somebody that took offense to you abusing that poor tea pot.

  • @hunt458

hehe ,, do i abusing my tea pot??

    fredde

  • Awesome looking shelter Fredde...

  • Nice video Fredde. Those mushrooms are still plenty and so damn tasty. Ive found those even under snow in good condition.

That Mora viking of yours is well used. I have one like that myself and ive been using it over 10 years very often and it still rocks.

    Take care: Ari

  • Nice start on the shelter. I think the thumbs down is the poor looser in your bow drill contest vid :P

  • @gotrocksinhead

yeah, look at that, my first thumb down.. i allways get a few them,

the fun part is i never know why, they dont tell,,

  • @hobbexp I am always curious why. Sometimes I know why... :)

  • nice camp man . i like the shelter vids for sure have a great week eh ...m just heading out for a couple days my self

  • good work again, take care

  • You collect tonns of moshrooms. Looks like sweden is the country of the moshroom. In germany I cant find not that much. Take care, Benedikt

  • Cool video, I built one just like it about 1 week ago and I covered it with a tarp because its quick and easy. Ill probubly put up the video this weekend

    Keep up the awsome videos!!!

  • Chantrelles?

  • Freddeeeeeeeee :))

  • Looks like a good start to this years winter camp. Thanks

    Nate

  • Great one Fredde my friend. God bless. John

  • Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing how the shelter evolves.

  • I'm sure that a lot of people bought Mora knives because they see how much that you use yours. You are a very good promoter of Mora Knives, they should give you money or more knives in order to repay you for this. They are fantastic knives and we all love to see that you put yours to such good use and continue to show how sharp and durable they are. Great video.....Thank you.

  • i miss the ac/dc blasting the intro! nice vid thx

  • Nice bunch of mushrooms.

  • Looking forward to the next shelter video. I really enjoyed your last one...Dash Riprock

  • Nice video, thanks for sharing. Take care and have a great day.

  • Its good to see you making a new shelter. Is this in the same place aS you other one? Can't wait to see it done

  • @ShawnCFarm

yeah i use wood from the old shelter, i think the moos hunters is finished in that area,

and no one hand pick the mushrooms, so i think im alone ther now,

    fredde

  • @hobbexp I wanted to make the same kind of thing for my kids very soon, just maybe abit higher and have a fire in the center. I'll prob just use a trap around it as it will save me alot of time. It might not be as warm but will not be sleeping in it this winter

  • We always appreciate your videos and training for us. Keep them coming please.

  • Great stuff Fredde

  • That was over way to fast man. Send us more footage.

  • cool stuff brother.

  • Ahhh, I love it you brought back the old Mora Viking.

  • hi fredde.

    thanks for showing

    regards

    streetartist

  • Nice job, will you be putting a tarp over the teepee? Looks like a great weekend.

  • @kgdblade no, i gonna put on more wood, thats the plan at least,, maybe it ending with a tarp anyway,

    fredde

  • Nice video, I'm looking forward to seeing it done.

  • good video, Thanks for posting.

  • Would like to see a complete video on that shelter your building.

  • @wtinnen

to build the shelter is no problem, its easy,

to gather material, and transport to the camp place is the hard part,

  • @hobbexp Thanks for the reality check... but your shelters are so much cooler than mine.

  • The Mora I have appears to be the same model, yet it has the natural wood handle instead of being red in color. Red is good is you drop the knife. Anyway, yours probably doesn't rust because it is stainless steel. Such is mine. Good for rust and coffee, but not good for fire. My favorite shelter is the one you made with the fire place, but this one looks like it will be easy to make. Thanks.

  • @InTheSticks0001

my knife is carbonsteel. red mora knifes have a carbonsteel blade,

  • @hobbex Thanks. I'd rather have the carbon steel and the red handle...Thanks

  • YES! I'm so happy you're making another shelter video, Fredde! Really, really loved the permanent shelter videos!

  • @CiaranRooney125

nice to hear, why are you not also make a winter shelter weekend.

    fredde

  • @hobbexp No batterys for the camera :)

  • So you went "mushroom shopping" again ;o)

  • nice one Fredde! Va ute själv i dag med en polare med lite bacon, korv, kaffe och varm choklad ! super nice med höst!!

  • Super job, Fredde, fantastic, ...was this the short floating hand drill stick? ...amazing ember on the cold steel! Great Tipi start and good mushrooms ; ) Thanks for sharing, my friend.

  • @Waldhandwerk

thanks that was a long stick,

my plan is to make the shelter so small i can, just for sleeping,

in a small shelter like that is good to know how to do hand drill fires, its just to small for the bow drill :)

  • Looking forward to the finished product. Nice work...

  • How do you keep that knife from rusting if you never oil it and use it as a coffee stirrer?;-)

  • @huguenot67

    i dont know , i just dont
