  • HAWAYANOS DE MIERDA !!!

  • ToFu you speak of eradication of the coqui only shows your ignorance. It's not about Hawaii it's about living with all our animals on Earth. As you love your Sea animals like Whales, Dolphin and turtles we love this helpless frog. We would never kill your Sea animals so why kill coqui. Perhaps the issue is that since Hawaii is basically a volcano made state and only a few land animals survived though years of ashes. Embrace El Coqui I'm sure that your ancestors would have. Aloha to my Coqui

  • by the way i live in pr and here there sound each day since a was born

  • the state of hawaii will never eradicate or extermenate them the're to many, so small as a cockroach and reproduce quickly. So in conclusion get used to them caused they'l never leave

  • fucking viet...hawiian people

  • Aloha au ia 'oe my coqui

  • A`ole pilikia (No problem) is what Puerto Rico we will say to you and Thank you very much (Mahalo nui loa) JUST DON'T KILL THE COQUI!!!... we would be more than happy to take them back.

  • If I could carpet bomb the forest behind my house with lime to burn the little bastards to death, I would. They can reincarnate in Puerto Rico.

  • Yeah all of you can STFU.....They are loud and annoying. Kill them all.

  • hawaii doesn't deserve the beautiful coquis

  • They sure wouldnt like seeing a dumb asshole gutting their "National Fish"

  • OMG!! Just like in my Puerto Rico!! We love that sound please hawaiians don't killed them :( send them back home to PR! When I go to the US I always miss that sound and sorry for my english I am not very good writing it hahaha :) they are amazing creatures! I am hearing them right now in my yard here in Puerto Rico!! I think that we r so use to it is difficult not hearing a coqui for a puertorican!

  • well that depends... is the sound of the chainsaw cutting your ass?

  • .. and, the one who has to be freezed to dead is named: Syd Singer in Hawwaii, the man who smuggles them from PR.

  • to us, this is symbolic to "let's hate Puertorricanos..."

  • This sound even soothes the savage beas!!!.Pls let us save them, they are part of the scheme of nature.

  • lol frog =rana

    toad=sapo

    coqui=rana peque~a no sapo e.e

  • I am puertorrican and I love the coqui and it's sound. But I understand the hawaiian concern of the danger to their native species. I hope hawaiians find a way to capture them and send them back. We are having the same problem with alligators, monkeys and iguanas (gallinas de palo) that aren't native, we capture and export them to zoos. Well, we are getting a taste for the iguanas I hear they taste like chicken!!!

  • TAINO TOA KOKI MISTERY GOOD YUKAYE BORINKE TUPAMARY GOOD KOKI ,........ NO KILL NO KILL NO KILL OR MORE VOLCANO AND 7.9 ERTHQUAKE SOON HAWAII

  • its so cute I don't get how its annoying whats annoying is hearing the train or fire sirens at night!

  • Ah... The legendary sound!!! It gives me goosebumps!!!!

  • First of all the coquis never wanted to be taken out of their native belonging!! if they would of let them be this NEVER would of happened!! Next time mind your business keep it going and dont try to fix something that is perfectly fine the way it is and doesn't want or asked to be bothered in the first place.. I hope whoever took the first coqui out drowns in them!!

  • That is now. The people who are being raised in Hawaii now should get used to the coqui and eventually they will not be persecuted anymore. MAYBE some day, in fifty years perhaps, coquies there will be as loved as in Puerto Rico.

I hope they continue multuplying in Hawaii 'cause I'm thinking, after I retire, to move to Hawaii. My island (Puerto Rico) is becoming quite dangerous for seniors.

  • @EricPR239 : None of you people get it.....In PR the Coqui is a peaceful, graceful, bliss. The reason it is a problem in Hawaii is there are few predators that can capture the PR mascot which resulted in an over population of them. Imagine 500 Coquis going off 10ft away from you at the same time. Even some parts of PR are like that. It is only peaceful when there are maybe 10 around your yard.

  • Their song isn't bad. However having little to no natural predators here, their numbers are exponential, so their songs can be, and sometimes are, just a blanket of noise.

  • The Hawaiians should be ashamed of themselves. The measure of a nation is in how it treats its animals and resources. Frogs are part of paradise, not sky scraper resort hotels and steel and concrete cities. Coqui's song is a rare, romantic delight. That is what Hawaii is supposed to be. We stop going to Hawaii until they stop killing the coqui.

  • What a crock of... killing these beautiful creatures should be a crime.

Send them all back (they didn't ask to be imported) and while you guys are at it.. send back the nursery plants too (even if they are fully grown).

Make sure to send it all express... we can't wait to welcome them home! :D

  • @CrazyTacky well you can collect all 1000000 and still growing yourself cause they are hard to catch

  • @WataAtaCrackah808 I'm not the one complaining...

  • Our Coqui is our national anthem, is much beautiful than La Borinqueña!!! and by the way our coqui is on danger, most of them are in extinction!!! Why to kill them!!!

  • @CHICABORICUAPR yeah well they invaded our rainforests and are competing with the food source for OUR endangered species, they are breeding as we speak

  • @WataAtaCrackah808 Like I told you in that other video... your comment makes no sense. Look up the meaning of invade cause obviously you don't know what it means.

  • Send all the coquí to Pueto Rico. Shit!!! I live in Cali send them my way and I have the perfect environment in a nice large aquarium set up. Don't hurt these beautiful animals.

  • DONT kill mah lil homies!! >:O How would you like it if when you annoy someone they just killed your ass right there? Those little dudes are doing you a valuable service. They eat all kinds of bugs so you dont get bit and then at night they sing for you to help you go to sleep. Yall will love them soon enough.

  • No one runs a chainsaw at night, and the coqui can be much louder!

I do not like them, I will exterminate them if they come around my home.

  • @yposurfer ignorant...

  • if people kill coquis then who will catch insects there going to extictn if they keep doing this send them to puerto rico here en la isla del coqui

  • @1234legodude we are trying but you should come and get them yourself cause they have already taken refuge in HI's Forest

  • they r so stupid,,I love the coqui sounds!! send them back

  • @2034betsy we would send them back but they were "accidently introduced" to Hawai'i and they have overpopulated from a "few" to THOUSANDS so as you can probably imagine catching them one by one is not a simple task

  • @WataAtaCrackah thats no reason to kill animals TnT theyre not pests as cockroaches

  • YES I AGREE

    SEND THEM BACK TO US

    WE LOVE THEM HERE

  • Wow...lots of uninformed and insensitive people in this thread! One of the problems is that the coqui is not a native species to Hawaii and has no natural predators (no snakes here). They have reproduced at an astounding rate. The coqui population was quaint and quiet years ago. Now some parts of the Big Island have coqui population densities of 1 frog per square foot! It is worse than living next to the runways at LAX.

  • they r so full shit, don't know how to appreciate the sweet sound of un COQUI, send them back to P.R. we love em there. They r music to our ears...BUNCH OF ASSHOLES........HOW DARE THEY, I agree with ...Unkownkid2....

  • I guess Hawiians don't like the coqui song 'cause they are not customized to it. To me it is beautiful...I wish they could send them back to Puerto Rico instead of killing them. They are endangered species and I miss them. I don't hear them so often these days :(

  • hahaha, dang you guys make like people here in hawaii are cruel and heartless. if you've ever been to hilo before the coqui invasion, it was a pretty quiet town. like really quiet. now everynight, all they hear is the thousands of frogs ko-k-ing and it sounds crazy. towns like hilo are filled with old-timers, and the frogs would drive them nuts regardless. i kinda like the sound, but with the old folks, they're kinda sensitive with all the loud noise i guess. haha

  • If hawaiians don't want them there that's too fuckin bad, that's what you get for trying to transfer plants from puerto rico that hawaii wasn't able to grow enough themselves. somethings are better left untouched and well, you wanted puerto rican plants, well you get the puerto rican amphibians that come with them, noise included or not, bitches. toma toma.

  • @listenfreak That the real story how coquies got to hawaii.

  • @tartaro11 ...thats easy in the 1980's many bromelia plants (the plant were they live) were exported to hawaii and the coqui's were inside the plants warm an confy when planted the plants there the cocqui found hawaii..wich is just like PR but bigger

  • @listenfreak HAHAHAHA U R SO RIGHT........FUCK-EM they want it they got it , now the r trying to exterminate our Coqui, should have left everything as it was

  • Guys its ok if they dont like the frogs, they are not native to their lands. They have a bigger pest-war to deal with and they have been loosing for a hundred years. Those pesky gringos are all over their islands and are taking over with their awful nagging, and bad taste for clothes.

  • you know what all u ppl are soooo dumn to turn something liek this into a racial thing... seriously?

  • Comment removed

  • before u accuse ppl of being cruel you should research the truth -- yeah when your stuck in a small area that has 10000000 of these frogs its irritating so dont act like you are almighty and its not even about Hawaiians vs puertp ricans so stfu

  • coquis are ment to be in Puerto rico and i have been there a thousand times. choke them or eat them thats just not right

  • damn! i love coquis i rather listen a coqui all night long than any other sound! im not Even from PR!.. but i just love it ! im from Honduras thou! viva el Coquiii! :D

  • Cook or freeze them to death?!! ANIMAL CRUELTY/ SAVAGES!! God created the little frog, respect it or HE will punish you.

  • Yes I agree don kill the coquies

  • what the hell hawaii they arent from HAWAII THEY WISH THEY WERE THEY ARE FROM PUERTO RICO DAM IT STOP THAT SHIT

  • Wow Kaniala88 I know you really do not represent the beautiful people of Hawaii with your foul ways you need more help than the Coqui's

  • Hawaii has animal species of what animal the tourist and hotels yes i agree..

  • Yes I agree don kill the coquies their singing is beatiful give them back to Puerto Rico and some southamerican countrys have coquies too .Northamerican never are happy ..

  • fuck you the coquis are thar becus you wanted plants from puerto rico and thay are a part of are culture

  • and yo your white ass is not hawaiin white people are not hawaiins stop killng thar culture

  • Learn proper grammar and than come back so we can have a real conversation.

  • your jus made becus your not or will aver be hawaiin

  • all fucken night long and the cops can't do nothing about it.WTF

  • why is hawaii taking the coquis of puerto rico if the coqui is the only symbol of puerto rico and the only actual thing that is from puerto rico.

  • Exactly. It would be like pissin on Don Ho records or going to Texas and chippin off a piece of the Alamo. This little frog is a symbol of Puerto Rico and needs to be shown respect.

  • This is music to my ears!

  • They wanted Hawaii to be more like puerto Rico....BUT FAILED! Ja Ja Ja Ja.

    .....Te Quiero mi isla borinken.........

  • This sounds like a bunch of morons running Hawaii to spend thousand of taxpayers dollars to erradicate frogs while the rest of the world is trying to increase their frog population.Btw Hawaii is the first place in the world to declared the coqui frogs a pest with ridiculous reason of the coqui nightly chirping sounds. That is dummmmmbbbbbb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I completely agree, it is a huge waste of money. Those tax dollars should be used over here in chicago where the Asian Carp is likely to invade the Great Lakes which is already estimated to cost both the U.S. and Canada billions of dollars. Instead tax dollars are being wasted in Hawaii simply because some people there don't like the sound Coqui's make.

  • look .. why dont u research the shit yourself before u make accusations

  • @fortunata91 XD so true

  • @articwolf478

Thanks I started a petition on Care2 site also there is a scientiest in the Big Island who has brought the media like BBC to promote his one man crusade to educ. and stop the eradication of the Coqui frogs.Check him out SIDNEY SINGER.

  • Aloha from "A Beautiful Day Hawaii" Here we have thousands of your little friends. I have to sleep with earplugs ever night. If any of you coqui lovers want to come by and gather up some of these darling little critters, I will give a free weeks stay and a spa treatment to anyone coming here and taking a thousand or more away. Visit us online at abeautifuldayhawaii com

  • Butterflylady12345- do u know what's more annoying -when you hawaiians eat all that smelly spam and fart it out ,that's i sooooo toxic for the environment and humans. The coqui is less toxic and less harmful than you who stink up the air. That is NOT Aloha spirit!!!

  • Coquis are a beutiful creature with a beutiful sound, you guys are lucky to have them. And also they never bothered me when i was gonna go to sleep.

  • We were also lucky to have peaceful quiet nights with nothing but crickets. It was "home", the way we always knew it. Now, where there are coqui, it's just chirping and you have a dificult time distinguishing other sounds. Like a loud unwanted bird outside your window who never shuts up. We turn up the volume when it gets dark. What sounds remind you of home? Imagine them drastically chenged forever. Kauai's only major outbreak was contained and costed 100s of thousands

  • @nbarca XD get used to it cuz when they're gone ull miss them as much as we do, maybe u wont miss them but after years, ur descendants will do miss them. COQUI WILL NEVER BE ERRADICATED! VIVA EL COQUI!

  • I heard el coqui through a phone conversation I was having with a friend. I thought they were birds singing! It has to be wicked, stupid people that find the coqui's song annoying. If I thought they would survive where I live, I'd have some imported!

  • damn i almost cried... i miss the coqui so much! i cant believe anyone wanting to hurt these poor little guys!!! =[

  • there's nothing annoying about them.I'd rather hear the frogs songs than the noisy city!!This is why humans are the most destructive force on this Earth because we are so disconnected with nature.Anything that annoys us we destroy.

  • @Unknownkid2 In Hawaii especially where I live there are absolutely no big cities mostly forest but they are really annoying still

  • @WataAtaCrackah Well maybe they are annoying to you because they aren't native to Hawaii but I love their songs. It comforts me.

  • @Unknownkid2 SUCH truth words u speak ^o^ VIVA EL COQUI Y TODOS LOS Q LO FAVORECEN

  • @Unknownkid2 There is everything annoying about them. You live with them in your yard? Something tells me no. You display your ignorance by saying you prefer them over a noisy city. There are no noisy cities where there are large populations of coquis. You are speaking about something you know nothing about.

  • These frogs are a scourge on Hawaii. The nights used to be blissfully quiet and still. Now, there is the shrill, incessant, chirp of an invasive pest whose runaway population has no predators as in Puerto Rico (that's nature). It is naive to think creating a sanctuary on the Big Island for coquis will somehow benefit the planet. As for anyone making comments without having experienced their deafening calls or sleepless nights listening to their obnoxious noise... preach to someone else. kill'em

  • Respond to this video... Eradicate them all from Hawaii !!!!

  • @tofufarmer Eradicate your stupidity

  • their song is beautiful...why do you people hate them so much?

  • While their lone song IS beatiful, we are used to quiet nights with only crickets making noise. It's what we always known and loved. It is what makes home Home. But the coqui have transformed those peacful quiet nights into inscessent chirping. Not one or two frogs but a contunuous chorus ranging from up close to far away. To make matters worse, Hawaii lanscaping tends to have plants around your home to catch water from falling off the roof. The frogs like those close plants too.

  • Puerto Rico is like Hawaii in terms of weather and landscape. We love the frogs because they are beautiful and calming.Maybe it's just a Puerto Rican thing.

  • @nbarca Mainly those aquatic plants were from PR, and the actual habitat of the coqui

  • @Unknownkid2 Because I live on an organic farm surrounded by a forest that is being invaded by them and their call. I do not like it. It is not comforting. I used to hear whales blowing and singing from my bed. Not anymore. I respect the aina (land) more than most and have two environmental degrees. I have traveled the world and understand ecology and cultural sensitivities & the threats invasive species present. I get it... you like them. I don't. They do not belong here. It is not personal.

  • I'm from Puerto Rico, and I've lived with them all my life, I don't know what so 'noisy' about them.

  • I agre with you son bellos!! Thats what happens when you take an animal out of its habitad.. now hawaii has no control over them. but hey bring them back to puerto Rico we love them.

  • you know what you whiny low rent knock off samoans i mean "hawaiians" if they are that bad why dpnt you just set a up a program to round up all the coqui that can be caught and ship them to puerto rico we would gladly take your coqui every last one of them we love our little frogs we would jump at the chance to increase the population 4 fold dont kill them give them back and stop whining we just made your volcanic death trap islands a bit nicer to be on

  • nice! LMAO!!

  • @bigjavo36 hahahaha NICE XD!

  • all i see in hawaii are uptight asians so fuck all those chinks in hawaii. COQUI POR VIDA

  • Well OK in large groups they have sound decibels comparable to a lawnmower, they are INVASIVE and ruin the ecosystem of the state and eat many of the insects the actual native animals eat to survive. Good game.

  • @brav989 bring back those aquatic plants or insert sum rats and snakes in Hawaii and ull get rid of them but dont come whining when u get bigger pests than poor coqui. Coqui was meant to live in PR give em back if u dun like em or if u cant deal with the enemy just join them, and get use to it XP! VIVA EL COQUI!

  • oh how i miss that sound its like my island is calling for me.dum hawaiian gringos

  • i agree, but the last message/part made me laugh

  • they r so small for such a small body and so cute XD!!

  • fuck toris!

  • I'm from Hawaii and the Coqui will have a place in my heart. The reason why they killing them is because of the Torist that visits herecomplain too much. I'm sure if King Kamehameha was alive he would let them live here.

  • yeah right.

  • wtf is this

  • coqui are bad ass,but the national hawaiian animals is the inmigrant from philipines hahaha they are everywhere.

  • sorry, frogs. not grogs

  • ya!! stop killing innocent cute coqui frogs. its their habitat and they make nature sound to realx anyone. i would kill anyone if they killed one infront of me. poor gorgs, please, god should save them from ignorant greedy devils.

  • NO! coquis are from puerto rico they should not kill these little creatures.. the sound is relaxing and they are harmless!!!!

  • the pretty song but is the one of coqui not so that there this killing

  • According to Hawaii's Dept of agriculture "Any person...who intentionally transports, harbors or imports with the intent to propagate, sell, or release the coqui...may be charged with a class C felony & subject to a minimum fine of $50,000 and maximum fine of $200,000, plus 3 years in prison" Unbelievable! You're better off getting caught with a kilo of cocaine!

    This madness must STOP!

Suggestion: Export the little critters to temperate zones! That way they'd die if not properly cared for.

  • noooooo! dont kill the coqui!!! those are like the puerto rican national animal!!!!

  • i think it's a cultural dilema... boricuas love coquis because they are part of who we are... so rather than be hasty and inhumane, i suggest we come together as civilized communities and attempt to fina a solution... send them back to their home... don't kill my coqui... everytime you do so think of it as your killing someone's heritage... i'm sure hawaiians can relate to heritage and i'm sure they can relate to the desire to preserve a heritage...

  • FUCK U MOTHER FUCKER..

  • theys dont want it anyway

  • i wanna go 2 hawaii and get a pet coqui

  • thats right, we love them in puerto rico...

  • 4 all ya hawaii people if u dn like it d sound of coqui , dont go 2 pr haterz

  • The Coqui frog was initially blamed for a sound created by criter making a similar sound to the cicadas. It was propaganda lies.

They had the sound plastered all over the internet and called it a Coqui, but it wasn't the Coqui frog sound. There are many in Hawaii who love the Coqui frog and its sound, I'm one of them and they will always have a safe haven at our place. They thrive in the lower Puna district and love it. The Coqui has brought Hawaii some new found Aloha, a rare thing these days!

  • because your not! so dont say they are frog cuz ther not oh me and my friends are goin to hawaii for vacations so we gonna kill some muther fucker asss if i we someone killing them im mad !!! you dont want to see a boricua mad!!!!!!!!! i hate you all!!!!for hatting my coqui! :c im sorry but im so angry cabrones de hawayenses estos they sound so nice coquis!! coqui coqui coqui coqui coqui coqui coqui ....i love coquis!!!

  • wtf why are you killing my coquis!!!!!!!! ther harmless creatures !!!!! we love them so much ! send me some to new york i mss them so much!!!!!!!!!! oh and stop saying ther frogs because ther not!!!! ther coquis ! thats like saying your hawaiian people are asian lol imao ahahah you dont like that ?

  • well...we are asain lol

Vueve loco a cualquiera.

  • @DelValle1980 CIERTO VIVA EL COQUI Y Q DEJEN DE HACER DE PUERTO RICO UN GRAN PEDAZO DE CONCRETO! ABAJO LA DEFORESTACION! SOY TREE HUGGER Y QUE!!!! XD

  • Comment removed

  • @SAPI3NS Acostumbrense XD!!!

  • I don't know much but by hearing people from Hawaii complaining about Coqui Frogs, I think than the Coqui Frog IS WINNING THE WAR!!!!! YEEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

  • I think coqui's sound is amaing and a simble to all puerto ricans and should be respested not killed

  • Well what's with the kill or F hawaiians comments. They are just stating how they feel. They do not like the Coqui. Someone mentioned that their are less is PR. Why? I guess they prefer the conditions in Hawaii??Anyways, if you miss or can't stant the little animal then move. BY the way it is a FROG. Why do people take offense to that, it's stupid.

  • Few natural predators exist in Hawaii to keep populations in ballance and perhaps there is more food. I don't know for certain what food sources or predation or competition or diseases act as limiting factors on carrying capacity. Conditions are ideal. Coqui heaven. Few predators, zero competition, possibly no diseases, and lots of food.

  • you sick son of a bitch i hope that some sick bastard like you would die the worst way posible someone should cut your dick and shove it up your ass you sick fuck dam you and everyone that thinks like you to hell ill rip you limb by limb you mother fuck respect us its name is a coqui not a frog he is a coqui

  • idiot it is in hawaii they dont have predators animals that eat them and in pr the rat and snake eat them an have a balance :P

  • I've heard coqui in videos from puerto rico and agree, they sound very nice. but when you hear them in Hawaii, it's a whole nother ball game. Soooooooooooooooo many. The densities are radical! People's love of the cocui are very understandable and so it peoples' hatred of coqui in Hawaii. Listen to videos from hilo and you will see why. You simply cannot appreciate the beauty of the coqui call when you are swamped by a thousand calls in every direction. Radical densities

  • i have heard them and they sound no different then a rainy night in the woods in pr. stop complaining you dont like them send them back we want them

  • I don't think u realize simply how dense the frog popualtion is without natural predators keeping them in ballance. They are ten times the density found in puarto rico, or greater in some places. It's like listening to a whistle for 1/3 your life. FYI, I went to college in Hilo and studied Tropical Ecosystem Management. I am well versed in these issues. I never said "deaf", I simply meant that there is likely to be damage to hearing to some degree. What degree that is is yet to be known.

  • This is a very misleading video. On the Big Island, there are such high concentrations of coqui frogs that you can hardly distinguish one chirp from another. Local residents will probably experience long term damage to hearing, not to mention losses to the agricultural and tourist economy and probable negative impacts on native ecosystems. They are out of balance and lack natural enemies. On the big island, control efforts are focused around greenhouses so that they don't spread them further

  • Ship them all to me! I love to sleep to the sound of them. We wish we have more in PR where they are almost gone in many areas of the island.

By the way, STOP CALLING THEM FROGS!!! They are NOT AMPHIBIANS!!! They don't have an aquatic stage. They give birth to fully developed little Coquis.

  • ...k, but they are still frogs and still amphibians.

  • Coquis never live in water as frogs do before they are fully developed and become terrestrial. Coquis are never tadpole, they don't have that aquatic developmental stage. Just because they look like frogs doesn't mean they are. Look, Native Hawaiians look Asian, does that make them Asians? Are they Asian because they look Asian? Well, the Coquis are not frogs either.

  • Hahaha, they are still in the class Amphibia. They are still amphibians and closely related to all other frogs. :D just because the tadpole stage occurs internally as opposed to externally does not mean they are not frogs. You crack me up.

I realize they are an important aspect of your culture but they are a fereign invader to ours. ...I'm sure you can liken that to something else affecting you in Puarto Rico.

Why are they almost gone in many areas?

  • who told them accept the coqui there? they belong home in puerto rico -- they have no business taking what is not theirs to begin with!

  • The Coquis are one of the most amazing soothing sounds I've ever heard. They are PERFECT for Hawaii. Even if I hated the sound I would be SO against KILLING them! I love them!! End the war on Coquis, war on drugs, war in Iraq, and any other war. Time for PEACE!!!

  • Listen to this beautiful piano song dedicated to the Puertorrican coqui. Make the search "Danza el coqui by Jose Quinton"

  • That is the must beatiful song in the world. They need to get a clue.

  • i think that all the Hawaians should just send the Coqui back to Puerto Rico and stop bein asses

  • Most Hawaiians wish it was easy as just sending them back, believe me.

I'm new to Hawaii though, and I love them. Even where they're loud, I still love them. And I know the coquis keep some people awake, but they help me sleep!

  • It's not that coqui frogs are irritating. it's that they're an 'alien' species. Like many plants and other animals brought in from out of the islands, the main concern is they're disrupting and possibly destroying Hawaii's unique and delicate ecosystem.

  • That's totally wrong. They're just hated by those who hate their sound. They fit just fine in the ecosystem. The methods of killing them are very harmful to the environment AND other animals

  • such a beutiful sound!!! I cant express how stupid people are !lawnmower !!!come on!! I live in Puerto Rico and i wont change it for the world love when the coqui sings it makes me fall a sleep

  • The part I miss about Puerto Rico is falling alseep to that sweet song del coqui.

The frogs are indigenous to Puerto Rico.

They should stay there. Honestly, if I were to hear that wonderful sound right now, in Florida...it wouldn't feel as special.

The Coqui represents Puerto Rico!...in fact, its been called, in jest, the national bird of Puerto Rico XD

I miss my home...I want to go back =[
