Yes, a new Harmonium must rise in Sigil. The Lady of Pain ejected order from her city at the end of the Faction War, and we must bring it back by any means necessary.
@bigheadrs87 It kinda gave you that feeling of a happy ending in Napolean Dynamite, Uncle Rico met his old wife, his bro had his Lafawnduh, and he helped Pedro become that class prez.
I heard this song on Pandora and loved it. I link this song to someone else, and their reaction is "Napoleon Dynamite!" I've never seen that movie and I never want to, but I was really annoyed that the song wasn't appreciated for its own merit. :/
@darkroomdoor They play this on Pandora? Cool! I've never visited Pandora myself but I hear the tall blue chicks are amazing!
FUN FACT #9: I can't sit still when I listen to this or "Perpetuum Mobile" (AKA: Mary and Max (2009) Main Theme) which is just as catchy, contrary to popular belief!
Its sad most of you are here because of a film. These guys are amazing, i saw them this weekend and they bought me to tears. I cant wait until i can see them again <3
Saw Penguin Cafe last night - great stuff, and they played this track to perfection. Proper Harmonium being pedalled like mad. Their new stuff is pretty good too.
Is it possible to put stuff like this up without getting done for copyright. i tried to put many Bob Dylan songs up but all of them got taken off due to copyright!! :/
@MrBrownbear03 "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. @rayggallagher1974 That would have been Penguin Cafe, right? Not actually the same thing as Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Penguin Cafe's a new band started by Simon Jeffes' son. I saw them with the Portico Quartet on Monday in Edinburgh and they were absolutely brilliant, setlist was a mix of new Penguin Cafe and PCO covers. Outstanding - you better catch them live some other time.
@whatbrains I went to see the PCO in a huge 19th Century Catholic Monastery in Belfast, and i had a sneaky reefer befiore entering, probably the best musical performance i've ever heard, but i was a tad pissed off when i got the munchies and realised that the communion waffers weren't up for grabs and in fact were under lock and key in the Tabernacle.
@cocksnap123 I tryed to nick some RED STRIPE from these nice people. It was at the REP in Brum about 1995 maybe.A band called PRAM played with them.I think it was for radio 4.
haha. this came on my "The Killers" play-list on Pandora. No idea how the relation was made between the two bands, but I'm happy there was. This is very enjoyable. Thanks for the upload! =]
@NothingOriginal55 You are mostly right. It was used FOR a John Hughes film in the teaser for "She's Having A Baby", but not IN the film. I remember seeing that in the "Coming Soon" portion of the Ferris Bueller's Day Off VHS release.
@catalystboy1 yeah i spent more time then i will own up to googling the John hughes trailer in 100s of different ways to find this piece of music which i loved in the trailer.

I love love love this song. The version I have is a little different. Napoleon Dynamite is such a great movie. Gotta love it :) Great great great stuff.
This is the song at the end of Napoleon, but it's not the correct version. Patrick Street's version is the one that plays in the movie. If you think I'm wrong, go compare the two and you'll see.
No shit. This audio was ripped from the video with the same title, except this one is just a blue background with white text saying "Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Music for a Found Harmonium"
The other video is the one being performed by the penguin cafe orchestra, which I think2 is better than the patrick street video and this video.
this is the bit after napoleon does his famous dance skit for pedro
then the film does like an ensemble of things showing stuff working out for each character; pedro becomes pres, rico meets his ex, napoleon gets to play tether ball with that girl

this song was first used on the 80's movie "She's Having A Baby" with Kevin Bacon.
it wasn't for another 15yrs or so, that Napoleon Dynamite used it, and made it popular again amongst a younger generation.
however, this is the kind of song that doesn't get old or tired, as it is very energetic and upbeat.
