I Just got a good thought Of what YOu said on Virtue, First example was courgage you dont want to charge in to battle because this could be wrath You dont want to flee because that is shy of courage NEither excessive neither defective JUSTICE IS THE VIRTUE JUSTICE IS PERFECT BALANCE in the Creed Of MAzdaism Justice is very important We can Apply Justice in everything, Justice Is the golden Rule Love thy Neighbor
What I meant by faith was clear, don't try to redefine faith as a way of life. Faith is the willingness to accept things unseen, a virtue which states it is good to accept something even if contradictory evidence. Don't tell me I know nothing of philosophy, I could argue you into the ground.
@asorlonnn You're babble is off topic. Whatever you're trying to make faith into you're welcome to it, but don't you tell me that my definition of faith is completely outside of religious context - it's not. Believing in something despite lack of evidence or evidence to the contrary even, that is NOT in accordance with reason. That is all I said. If you want to call such a thing a virtue, then good luck to you.
the ultimate happiness is to worship your lord, the god and serve him only.
just as happiness is the ultimate goal of our existence we must then find what is that ultimate goal. If its money pst I am still not happy. if its a sex pssh n its gone if its kids after sex...pssh cld be a bad egg...happiness is therefore to be content in my context. and the only way to make your soul happy is to make it content. n to b content you have to worship god. however u 1st have to find him...atleast i think
reason has shown us that our intuitions are not always right, and god has always been supported by intuitive arguments (such as all things need a beginning) or by intuition itself (people have a "feeling of god"
as for religion, well, education will reveal to you that religion is man-made
@AR333 Did you just say "philosophy begins where religion ends?" thats a false statement altogether...Philosophy is always concerned with the existence of soul n god. and did you jus say PHILOSOPHY BEINGS WHERE RELIGION ENDS! the question that I have for you is What do you know about Islamic philosophy or Judeo philosophies.
Andy look deeply inside the knowledge that we have around us.
Philosophy is man-made as well? agree or disagree? ppl have feelings of god? ppl have feelings cuz of God.
Your last question is pointless, and it shows how little you've thought this through. Philosophy knows and admits it's man-made, religion claims non-human authorship. If you didn't get that I feel sorry for you.
Again, it is visible that you have given this little thought. As I pointed out philosophy is **and admits** it is man-made, while religion claims divine authority. So, if you would have thought this through, you would have arrived at the conclusion that religion provides believers with answers to fundamental questions; origin of the world, moral absolutes, purpose.
Philosophy however doesn't see revelation as a satisfactory way of arriving at truth.
Look I understand that English may not be your first language but I tried understanding so far, and I can't decipher your last sentence.
The point is religion by definition claims to have answers to certain questions. Not only have these answers been unsatisfactory throughout history, but their credibility becomes thinner and thinner the more we learn about the world. So yes, philosophy only BEGINS once we emancipate ourselves from saying "we already have the answers"
@AR333 You can teach me English later. Lets talk in more clear terms; so you understand my perspective a lil clear.
You say, "Philosophy however doesn't see revelation as a satisfactory way of arriving at truth."
And I am telling you that Islamic philosophy, however only sees "Revelation" as a sastisfactory way of arriving at the ultimate truth....The complete way of life; the knowledge of existence, values, reason, mind, languages, morality, rights of my fellow kinsmen and alot more....
@khanbhai I know what Islamic philosophy is, but it makes the same mistake that for example "Christian Science" does, it supposes that faith and reason are compatible.
All I've been trying to argue is that reason (philosophy) is not compatible with faith (religion). To say they go together is to twist their definitions.
So when one says "religious philosophy" it is an oxymoron, because philosophy is not proper if it says "our axioms are that which are revealed in this holy text". That's faith.
@AR333 no you dont! you fail to understand the very basics of its philosophy altogether. it doesnt only SUPPOSE; it is compatibile between FAITH (the way of life) and "the knowledge of existence, values, reason, mind, languages, morality, rights of my fellow kinsmen and alot more, as i mentioned before...
2nd point-- I am talkin abt MY perspective. HOWEVER, however your being Intellectually dishonest, when you put a claim on someones else perspective, WITHOUT INDEPTH understanding.
@AR333 what do you know about Islamic philosophy to put these claims. What books have you read to even understand it?
I cant be a Doctor or a Scientist without really gettin the proper knowledge to be one...now can I? and if I try to say something about XYZ disease and how it can be cured...wouldnt it tottttally Oxymoron claim to make....as you say about Islamic philosophy...I suggest you get better understandin of things 1st, then we shell talk. God bless you my brother in humanity
@khanbhai7860 Don't ask me what I know, then assume I know nothing, then say I need to read to understand it, then say I need to be a graduate in it to comment on it. Reading about and being a graduate of something are two different things, it seems you can't tell the difference.
When I tell you you have given little thought on something, I elaborate on what it is, clearly you don't find this to be an important move.
Don't be condescending and end with a "god bless you", that's just low.
Thank you very much for your videos, very helpful.

Faith Can be interperted in many levels
Faith Is a Virtue
(Good quality Trait)
Faith Is something in One's Mind This could be like a divine Spark
Faith steadfast in one's belief with faith in God Your Perception and destiny should be different with true Faith
Your thoughts Words and Action, are of goodness and purity
Faith In the future Never worry
Many virtues exsist
best to never bend knowledge is my suggestion

Aristotle seems less crazy than Plato.
Alas up until now, I have probably lived closer to Plato's teachings, badly implemented, than Aristotle's.
