I just put the pypes offroad xpipe on my mach 1 too, and that thing was the biggest pain in the ass!! did not fit right, and had a leak at the left header for a cople of days till i bought after marker manifold studs.. did u have any probs?

No it actually went on very easy and fit perfect. I think they changed the design though, so if you have the new design it may be different. The pics of the new ones show it slip fit together and is 3 pieces. Mine has ball joints and is 2 pieces.
How are those spacers working out for you? I've been looking at some to flush up my 10.5 to the wheel well but I'm just worried about bearing problems.

Keep it under 2K rpm, acceleration or cruising, and it's pretty tame. Past that and you're making noise. Personally, it never gets old. I don't even bother driving it unless it's nice enough outside to keep the windows down.

Yes I like them. I don't know what the prices are now, but when I bought them almost 3 years ago they were like $100 cheaper than Bilsteins. That fact plus they're simple to adjust sold me. You can adjust all 4 corners in about a minute, just pop the hood and trunk and turn the knobs.

Hey im thinking about buying a 03' 5speed mach 1 with 94,000 miles on it for 9500 dollars and the car looks perfect inside and out but the only bad thing is the 3rd gear synchronizer is goin bad. do you guys think its still worth it?
When i bout my 03 5 speed mach 1 they didn't know the synchronizer was bad( Going Reverse). Then i complained about it. Luckily it was part of the warranty, so they try to fix it. It took Ford dealership more than 3 weeks to figure out whats really wrong. But they can't fix it and just decided to put a new tranny on the car , which cost around 2,2K (labor included)
Luckily all part of the warranty..
I say no..
You don't want to deal with all the problems in a long run.
IMO, I wouldn't buy one with that many miles unless I planned to do some kind of engine build. For a few grand more you'll find one with a fraction of that many miles.
The LM1 set up is louder, but this set up is plenty loud as you can probably tell. I like the LM1s with the prochamber or recently I've been liking the sound of them with a O/R H pipe. You might have seen it but if not go to youtube channel "Ichiduo" and watch his donuts vid. I love how his car sounds there (O/R H with LM1).
Hey i have been contemplating whether or not i should change out my exhaust. When I first got the car, it had an o/r prochamber and mac mufflers. After listening to video, I think I may change out the prochamber for a pypes o/r x pipe w/ a set of long tube headers and keep the mufflers.

I think you would like the X pipe then. The prochamber sound is very similar but a little mellow compared to the X. Long tubes will also add a lot of racey/pissed off sound. I'd get some but have to deal with CA smog check.

down the road the mach will always be worth more. but a supercharged LS2 has to be making close to 500hp and 500tq so i would go with the Goat man. unless the mach looked sick as hell.
It's N/A and basically stock as far as the engine. Just the exhaust is changed. I really have no idea what the HP is. Pretty safe to say under 300whp, which is slightly misleading because it could run in the 12s in the 1/4 mile.
there pretty light cars and very quick, my dad has a 2002 GT probably around the same HP, how much do you have invested into the exhaust if you dont mind me asking, my dad would love to make his sound like this
ummm....ok? the mach 1 is a 310hp 32v 4.6L 281ci V8 and the GTO is a 400hp 16v 364ci V8. more cubic inches more power. slap a whipple on a mach there is your 400rwhp slap a magnacharger on an LS2 there is your 500rwhp. both are nice cars but atleast the mach is american unlike the GTO. the gto is a re-badged holden manaro.
Hummm. A 13.10 at 105mph? thats it. I had a 2003 mach 1 5 speed with h-pipe flowmaster cat back and 4.10 gear with drag radials and I ran 12.8 at 107 with a 1.82 60ft. Oh yeah and i took off the sway bar links in the front. I miss that car. If your buddy has all that done to his mach you must be running it at the track on a 95 degree day and just plain shitty track conditions.

I hope your kidding lol...... My buddies got an 04 Screaming yellow Mach1 with Longtubes, catless mids, Mac catback with an Xpipe, Short throw, CAI, Ported TB, Tuned and 315 Nitto 555Rs..... Ive got a GTO and i pull him by 2 cars from a dig, An about 3-4 from a roll and i do 0-60 in about 4.3 - 4.6 seconds. we went to the track His best 1/4 was 13.106 @ 105.6 (1.8) 60' mine was 12.854 @ 108.61 (2.2) 60' he gets out the hole alout quicker with his tires. But i do like the Mach's.

Yes. You will never forget you're driving a V8, that is for sure. I think I have a interior clip on the highway, I might upload it since people ask this a lot. I don't think it's unbearable or anything like that, but I guess compared to a "regular" car it's really loud. A quiet Mustang doesn't seem right to me.

i like the mach1 and the engine runs a good 1/4 mile time also which is cool. the onyl part im having a hard time with is the lousy interior. im so used to my acura that buying a american car means lower my standards. but i like the sound and the semi-high revving of the engine. sound is nice also.

Are you outta your mind?? There were only about 17k of these made and its safe to say that with the ones that have been totalled or exported there might be around 12k left in the US. Everywhere I go I get people giving me compliments and asking me to rev the motor or asking what's that sticking out of the hood, I wouldn't drive any other mustang.
That's great....and guess what, that 12k left are gonna add to the nostalgia value of the car meaning they're gonna be more rare stock....however when I mod the shit out of my 07, no ones gonna care if it's stock or not....I'm not bashing the Mach 1 in any way, I think they're magnificent cars, I'm just saying that power-wise they're gonna be lagging and if you wanna keep the car's historical value, you might as well just leave it stock.
Why? A lot of people mod cars now-a-days and keep the stock parts in a box in a garage and when you decide you want to sell, you put it back to stock, anyways when you own one of these the last thing on your mind is resale value, because i'm not planning on selling it.

dude no matter what setup you have with SLP LMs they will always sound like shit....way too loud with no tone and all rasp....that's why I've got Borla Stingers, they have a great quality sound with no rasp.

Hello sir. First off, I'd like to let you know that you have an absolutely beautiful car there. Truly great sound and look. This might be too much to ask, infact I'm almost sure it is. But if it's not too much trouble, could you please tell me every modification you've done to your car. Like aftermarket parts and tires or even exhaust systems. It would be greatly appreciated. Pypes X pipe, Mac Catback, mgw shifter, H&R SS springs, Tokico D-spec shocks, K&N air filter, and in this video I have 1" spacers on the rear wheels, and 17" Shelby Torq-Thrusts, and 275/40/17 Goodyear GS-D3s. Oh, and I have a shorty antenna, lol. That is it.

I hope your kidding lol...... My buddies got an 04 Screaming yellow Mach1 with Longtubes, catless mids, Mac catback with an Xpipe, Short throw, CAI, Ported TB, Tuned and 315 Nitto 555Rs..... Ive got a GTO and i pull him by 2 cars from a dig, An about 3-4 from a roll and i do 0-60 in about 4.3 - 4.6 seconds. we went to the track His best 1/4 was 13.106 @ 105.6 (1.8) 60' mine was 12.854 @ 108.61 (2.2) 60' he gets out the hole alout quicker with his tires. But i do like the Mach's.

Your friends not running that great for those mods. I ran 13.2@104 with just mid pipe and catback on 275 street tires, 2.0 60'.

Idk but i know what he ran and he doesnt miss a gear..... he put down 307 RWHP / 319 RWTQ.... What was the DA at your track?? cause were you ran he might be able to run a 12.7 . who knows.... DA plays a big factor in your times

you can drive a car then lol, my friend has a 96 cobra with an 01 intake and 03 heads with stage 2 cams, he just got a used M55 cat back from a guy on svtp and his best time so far was a 13.2 @ 109 with a 2.4 60'. we are goin to orlando "spin" world tomorrow hopin for a 12.8 12.9 pass. the car is a 12 sec car with a 13 sec driver lol

Yes. You will never forget you're driving a V8, that is for sure. I think I have a interior clip on the highway, I might upload it since people ask this a lot. I don't think it's unbearable or anything like that, but I guess compared to a "regular" car it's really loud. A quiet Mustang doesn't seem right to me.

i like the mach1 and the engine runs a good 1/4 mile time also which is cool. the onyl part im having a hard time with is the lousy interior. im so used to my acura that buying a american car means lower my standards. but i like the sound and the semi-high revving of the engine. sound is nice also.

dude just wait till the new 5.0s come out....i mean the only thing this cars got goin for it is the 32V DOHC engine, which by 2010 will be considered underpowered by the 5.0s

Are you outta your mind?? There were only about 17k of these made and its safe to say that with the ones that have been totalled or exported there might be around 12k left in the US. Everywhere I go I get people giving me compliments and asking me to rev the motor or asking what's that sticking out of the hood, I wouldn't drive any other mustang.

That's great....and guess what, that 12k left are gonna add to the nostalgia value of the car meaning they're gonna be more rare stock....however when I mod the shit out of my 07, no ones gonna care if it's stock or not....I'm not bashing the Mach 1 in any way, I think they're magnificent cars, I'm just saying that power-wise they're gonna be lagging and if you wanna keep the car's historical value, you might as well just leave it stock.

Why? A lot of people mod cars now-a-days and keep the stock parts in a box in a garage and when you decide you want to sell, you put it back to stock, anyways when you own one of these the last thing on your mind is resale value, because i'm not planning on selling it.

buy this exhaust....SLP Loudmouths were originally designed for GM cars so they sound like shit on Mustangs

dude no matter what setup you have with SLP LMs they will always sound like shit....way too loud with no tone and all rasp....that's why I've got Borla Stingers, they have a great quality sound with no rasp.
