There was no military coup in Honduras. It was former president Zelaya that attempted a power grab to usurp the Honduran constitution. He was exposed and then ousted by the congress. The military acted on orders of the congress.

This is the worst lying yet that I've seen out of TNR. You people really are far far left propagandists. Why do you think that Zelaya had the support of the virtual dictator Chavez anyway...?

Get it straight:the golpistas' version is not that congress ordered it(something the 1982 consitution does not permit)but that the Supreme Court ordered it (also not a power they have under the 1982 constitution, but they do try) and that Congress ratified the decision by electing another guy(yes, on the basis of a forged letter of resignation"by"Zelaya,but you can't ask these brutes to be too consistent,evidently they are much better at assasinating the opposition than acting "democratic").

I thank you for this great interview. Obviously the U.S is playing possum. The U.S has always looked out for the interests of it's own multinational corporations in the Latin American region. Since the inception of the financial crisis many regions of the world have tried to disengage themselves from Anglo-Saxon globalization.
