Hello Tara, Im an Aussie gal....I am not ove weight but im def not as healthy as I want to be or would like to feel...I have never done yoga before....am I able to do this 4week challenge if I have never done it before? Thankyou :)

@erikagumero i did yoga quite frequently(in a class) a while ago and a pose that really helped my back and relieved tons of tension was like laying in the child's pose but with your arms&wrists next to you, also have someone (usually teenager or partner, whoever really that is comfortable) lay on top of you back to back(spines aligning each other). it is amazing. i'm sorry i do not remember the name. (:
@lehman actually it's practical. twisting moves massages the internal organs and twists out toxins that are stored there. . . like things people eat that aren't healthy, and alcohol :)

Last night I was doing the destress one and I actually noticed that I am already more flexible than I was before! After one week! Thank you for your videos, they are wonderful and you are gorgeous :)

But even though i have been doing yoga for more then half a year, i cant seem to get very flexible, which i need for the sports im playing. I think i have pretty good form but i still cant get the flexibility i want. Do you have any tips for me?

I've recently quit smoking cigarettes and I want to detox as well, and I've heard about drinking lemon juice. I was wondering if you knew about anything else.
glad you quit smoking! I'm not big into detoxing diets and "cleanses". Try to drink a lot of water during the day, carry it with you, that sort of thing, and eat more greens and fruits and veggies. like michael pollan says, try to eat things that you can also eat the container they came in :)
She has the neck of a giraffe, the legs of a deer, hair like the tail of a horse, hands long like a monkeys', if yoga does that to you then i'ma start yoging.

Tara- I'm looking forward to doing this regiment, but I've been having some hip problems on my right side.
The long and the short of it is I have a history of L4, L5 and hip issues from being a drummer, and now it's compounded by a car accident.
Thankfully, my current yoga exercises have greatly alleviated my lower back issues, but the hip issues remain. Can you give me a little input as to how I can focus on aligning my pelvic bones?
Hi Tara! I tried your total body sweat video and I love it :) I did it 4 days though, but it was amazing. I really felt it in my legs and arms. I lost 3 lbs that week thanks to that routine! yay! try the weight loss: total body sweat and tone video first and do this routine right after. you'll be loosened enough from the first to be able to twist and relax further into this routine :) Let me know how it goes!
which parts are too tough? the squat? you can prob do the lying on back and easy twisting sitting. very gentle. let me know what your limitations are and hopefully I can help. thanks.

I can't seem to squat and keep my heels on the floor. I automatically go to my tip toes. Is this due to a lack of flexibility? Can I correct this?

Hey Tara have you ever heard of Bikram Yoga? Its supposed to be done in a heated room so you sweat out toxins...you should really look into that.
