yes and no its healthy but hurling is a dying game at the moment. not enough support in many places and the decline of clare and specificaly offaly and even wexford is cause for concern hurling is so bad antrim and galway had to go to leinster. very fews places live and breed hurling anymore. places like portumna are fading away

cork have died down and no real up and commers there. dubs look improved but waterford are dying out too. kilkenny will only be challenged by tipp and galway in the coming years. all the others teams look easy to beat.
