To get them to be good at it, you do have to train them to follow your lead, and the show environment itself is distracting for them!

It also depends on the breed. The long-haired silver spotted cat, "Chester", is a Turkish Angora, an active breed that's often interested in and good at agility. The short-haired, silver spotted cat is an Egyptian Mau and they're also good at agility - at least when they want to be!

Other breeds "running the course" - Siamese, Japanese Bobtail and Abysinnian.
