I use a very small camera. It's not a camcorder but a small pocket sized digital camera that does video as well. The quality isn't top notch, but it's not bad either. I just can't zoom in and out once it starts recording.
Mine is the Sony DSC-T1. Now they are up to the DSC-T9, but they are all good. And I now have about 90 airplane videos on Youtube without ever being busted on the plane!

Yeah! Dash-8s are like the MD-80s. They may be small, but are very powerful!!
