The difference is that in gust conditions you can ease off the power if you want, they also give you a larger wind range than fixed bridles. Some people love depowers others hate them. I personally like both just depends what you want to do really....
No, if your going along and the kite is at 1 o'clock and you pull the bar in it will stay roughly the same. For jumping you take the kite from 1 o'clock and behind you fast to 11 or 10 o'clock and pull in the bar at the same time and UP you go if the wind is right.....

If you are going to buy a Guerilla it will have to be a second hand one as Peter Lynn no longer make them. The Venom is now on the second version and is a brilliant kite, I have a 16m Venom for using on the water and love it. If you want something with a little bit less lift then have a look at the Peter Lynn Vortex, lower aspect that the Venom and the Scorpion but full of pull!
Really? I find when first launching the kite they tend to tuck in slightly but this is simply due to under inflatation, as soon as the manta gets off the ground dive it round to the left or right, this forces more air in to it and inflates it, after that I have found the kite completely solid in the sky!
The Samurai's are very nice kites, I have the 2m and 3m for my kite school. Not in the same league as the Frenzy or Scorpion and no where near the new Ozone Manta :)
I havent tried the 16m Scorpion. I owned an Ozone Frenzy 07 10m and found it got going a lot easier in lower wind that the scorpion did, simply because you don't need to inflate the Frenzy.

Is that a closed-cell foil? I'm not too familiar with the C-shaped foils like that. I do see it's a depower, however...

Yes its a closed-cell foil. Check out Peter Lynn Arc's, brilliant kites! The latest, the Synergy, is an amazing bit of kit!

If you mean right in front of you, 6 foot off the ground, you would be pulled forward.

Nope, the zippers must all be closed when flying otherwise the kite will deflate and loose shape!

I have the first twinskin kite from peter lynn (ARC)
its from 2002 i think... its an old model but flyes verry good.
