I recommend after you set the variable. var name = prompt("Please enter your name"); , Go ahead and put name = name.toLowerCase(); So it doesn't matter the case which is entered because you are making it all lowercase and make sure you change the if statement to if(name == "ryan") instead of "Ryan"
