hey man nice rig. if ya want to get rid of the power ass steering find a 3/4 ton or 1 ton chevy, you can use the gear box out of one of those and fab it up. i saw a article on the swap years ago in farm journal. sure if ya look around you can find it.
@klecan8 Oh yeah? Cuz to swap it too a ford gear box I have to box the frame and mount it on the inside...which is a pain...that would be cool if I could just fab it up on the outside
i saw the videos of you flooding out the engine did you have to go through a couple of motors or do you just have a superman of an engine? i think you have a sweet old ford here. ive got a 78 f150 short bed out in the garage. its got a 351 modified. well gotta go.
I was wonderin about the winch bumper, did you fab that up urself? if so did you use a sub frame to make the bumper more sturdy? and is it 1/8" or 3/16" steel?
that looks like a ford floor. i got a 85 f-150 and it rotted out exactly the same. my truck is just a driver, two wheel drive, 300 straight 6, c6 3 speed auto. its good in snow though i had it in about 3 feet of snow and didn't get stuck
Man im jealous of your truck. My dad used to have one exactly like this except it was a HI-Boy edition. He unfortunatly sold it awhile ago to get a new truck but rumor has it that is still running around town here somewhere, I really want to find it and buy it off the the current owner. Also would it be possible you could do a start-up video of the truck? After watching all of your other videos i just think this thing sounds so sick. If you could do that it would be awesome man!

Nice truck!! I have a 77 150 I just lifted and these old trucks are tanks. I need a locker in the front and a winch and It will be almost complete. Cool vid man

@KneeDeepFilm5 I had to do a little re-enforcing but didnt do the origanal fab work. Its 3/16 and its bolted to the frame.
