@Karlosvonost Concordia College is a college owned and operated by the congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in northern Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana.
This is just like this song is supposed to be sung. Beautifully directed, and wonderful voices. Such an unknown song thank you so much for posting this. I did this song in high school and I go looking for it now and then. Truly thank you for such splendid work on this.
The soloist is incredible. That guy has one heck of a set of vocal chords. The song is beautiful. And of course the Concordia choir is one of the best.
my choir did the tabernacle arrangement of this song. it is still my preference but this version is just plain beautiful and would be wonderful in a skilled small choir setting
hello. I sait Carranza, I'm writing from Colombia, I am a loyal fan of your work and I write that I want to know how I can get the score of this piece, I belong to a choir-Mateur and we are riding beautiful pieces like this.
adradezco your attention and prompt, positive response.
@opiewhizbang We love them too :) But we feel a special connection to this piece, being that Paul J. Christiansen, the composer, conducted the Concordia Choir for 50 years. .
@TheConcordiaChoir Well....in the interests of full disclosure, I have two sons in Nordic, and a daughter in St. Olaf Choir currently, so I might be biased. Concordia, IS a wonderful choir, and upholds the Lutheran choral tradition in the finest manner.
BTW my daughter says that Concordia choir members were consummate hosts when they were there for their run-out tour a few weeks ago. Thanks!
The tenor solo.. Absolutely gorgeous.

I enjoyed Dr. Clausen's interpretation of Paul J's song. I still would have like to here the Alto singing the solo. Tenor had great vocals.

The video captures a lot of a concert feel, rather than a massaged studio sound. That is great.
Powerful in so many ways. Sung by one of the premier college choirs. Thanks very much.
