ya and im getting a postwar berkshire and one of the turbine engions that the PRR used. my uncle doesnt use them anymore so he gives them to me to add on to the other 16 trains i have.
haha dont get mad. u can actually buy them for pretty cheep if u kno were to look. theres a place were i live their selling a post war berkshire for 100 dollers. look around theres always deals
i like that 773 set it looks nice i love all your trains me and my dad and my grandpa have trans im 13 years old and i have over 2000 dollars worth of trans
nice start. im 13 also and i have about 8 to 10 thousand dollers in trains. im not trying to top u. but ive been collecting for about 12 years. what locomotives do u have.
Your lucky man to have all those nice trains. I need to get a job and save my money pronto!! How many cars can the 726 pull? I am looking for a 726 Berk myself. Hope I find one at the train show I am going to this December.
I'm not sure how many cars the 726 will pull. I hooked up 19 freight cars behind ours, 5 MPC boxcars, 5 Postwar tankers, 1 PW hopper, 7 Modern hoppers (with a little lead added) and a MPC caboose and both the 726 & 736 pulled it easily. The 726 slipped a little taking off on the Gargraves track. It's a growler like the early F3's. I just uploaded a video of them. Hope you find one!
Hi I just bought a later model 726 at a train show. It is in nice condition. It is a kick ass locomotive and is my favorite. I also have a postwar 1615 switcher, a postwar 2055, a prewar 1666, and a grey 224E. And I have other Lionel trains that are modern era made.
It just goes ta show, That old lionel can really look great in the right setting,,,I love this small layout and I also love the camera work and lighting...Keep up THE GREAT WORK....

are they all original?????
trainboy94 3 years ago
Yes, they are original. We don't run them often but since both my Dad and I grew up with them we have to fire them up every once in a while!
The anniversary passenger cars in the other video are restored though.
Thanks for the comments!!
