  • I'm over weight according to my BMI but i don't eat fast food i don't really snack all that much unless i am eating fruit or something like that. I am a vegetarian so i have a pretty healthy diet. But i am still over weight i have PCOS (poly cystic ovary syndrome) which cause my female reproductive organs to produce more male hormone then female which cause weight gain among other problems and i also have a thyroid problem and if you ever take psych meds they can most likely cause weight gain.

  • @pichugrl idk about u but i rather have a bunch of fat Americans then a bunch of psycho ones that are going around and killing themselves or harming themselves or harming others

  • I'm fat....but not American.

  • Being fat is not a disease. You eat more than you walk, that's the only problem. Strange disease if youv'e got to pick up food from McDonalds 4 times a week...

  • I know I'm fat :/ I admit it lol

  • ... WHY YOURE FAT! how nice. really

  • I have a glandular problems and I hate it, when other people use this as an excuse. I cant breath sometimes because of my gland and doctors found a cyst. Fortunately it is disappearing now, slowly. I STILL LOST 30KG! Now Im 56 kg and happy. If you can control yourself, it is no problem. Fat people need to realize, that they are eating too much.

  • i think its fucking retarded when people who have glandular don't take responsibility for what they put in their mouth. they use excuses"oh, It's not my fault, I can't control it. I'll be fat the rest of my life" and they use that excuse to continue shoveling the fast food into their mouth. They can choose to eat healthier but they choose to eat the fast food crap instead...

  • my husband and I are stationed in germany, and it has totally opened my eyes on how fat the US is! c'mon people, get it together! ;)

  • Within the first month of my becoming vegetarian, I dropped 10 pounds.....literally. Might have something to do with it.

  • im not american. but i have a thyroid problem! its reallly a rare problem! i think sometimes its used as a cop out which sucks for the real people who do suffer from glandular problems

  • I'm from Sweden and gosh... when I think about it a lot of people are skinny here. I donno.

I'm not fat or well, that's what doctors have told me, and I don't know why there are a lot of fat people in the U.S. :/

  • ur freakin me out lol

  • me i just eat way to much i wish i had self control... wait I hate food and I only eat once in a while . It is that I hate exercise. I feel guilty every time I eat so why do it

  • Man I love the way you think Greg. Just about every topic you have I agree with because it only makes sense. I hate it when people pull out information out of their ass that has no scientific or experimental research and try to cover up their truths. I feel like people here are just too influenced by society and the media that they go with what is shown rather than seeing what is right. And it all seems normal to them because it's now a cultural issue. It makes me sad how careless our gov. is...

  • Also it was funny cause there was a foreign exchange student that came to my school and she when she went to lunch she was like :O you guys have large proportions talking about the food

  • HAHA This made me laugh. You forgot tho that almost ALL of America is also lazy asses :{D Just sayin. But yeah we deff are FAT!

  • We were given too many freedoms, and the biggest one is to make every excuse in the book... u are but one voice. it takes many of us to rub it in their faces to stop the pretending, but these days nobody is really giving a shit anymore. I feel u. It sucks man, it really does.

  • Me myself had two surgeries that slowed me to a stop for years.

From 180lbs. doing 1,000 pushups & 1,000 crunches 5 to 6 days a week to "dead stop" made me

gain weight. You might be slim Jim now, but you never know whats down the road for you.

The U.S. lets pestisides, and other chemicals in the food they make for us, I think it's like 50,000 different chemicals in our food. I can only speak 4 myself, but others can't accept these things in their

bodies. Why do men try to look like women?

  • Ever considered the possibilitie that you are a fucking idiot?

  • Fucking Youtube whore. Exploiting someones illness for ad revenue. I'm gonna spread this shit and make sure, ED page will be created.

  • @Tygerlily179 I'm sorry, but irish and scottish are not (kind of like) the same

  • People have glandular issues, like exhibit yours truly. I just tried to get un-unhealthily skinny harder than most with anorexia nervosa. Ta daa!

  • I'm not overweight but I think the issue is more so the generational teaching of bad habits. Also the emotional strain to have to accept that one's appearance, something that could be very painful for some to accept, is their fault is a reason the glandular disorder/malfunction excuse exists, I'm sure they were informed by doctors that they don't have this issue, however it is the shame that causes them to excuse this issue publicly. The solution is getting parents to teach good habits early on

  • "Ja, då ses vi på lördag! JA, DÅ SES VI PÅ LÖRDAG! Ja, då ses vi på lördag, NÅGONSTAAAANS."

    I hate commercial :C

  • no doubt there are genes that make you a little heaver then most, but i think its like the ADHD thing like u said in another video. some people genuinely have it but some hide behind it to avoid responsibility,

  • come to Ireland, we're pretty much skinny as f~uck!!! :D

(and sorry to disapoint but we're not all ginger :P) xx

  • @MusicXisXmyXlifeeXxx I'm like 20% Irish and 15-20% Scotish, if Ireland and Scotland (KIND of) are like the same. :]

  • @MusicXisXmyXlifeeXxx Yeah it's kinda funny that if you go to mc donalds here there are no fat people at all. I think it's due to easier access to farm fresh food. I travelled america recently and everything tasted like sugar. even the bread.

  • Is it to listen to the stomach or the brain?

Maybe the heart. That is most legitimate as the heart pumps the food everywhere.

  • Is it the stomach or the brain we must listen to?

  • I blame KFC, McDonald's, and Carl's Jr. mainly because if you actually look at the food, it is disgusting.

  • @pedroboy1997beeouch what do you mean I eat that stuff almost every day and I'm not fat, I'm underweight.

  • You're right on this one Onision. I think many kids grow up fat because of bad parenting. Parents buy things for their kids, often without checking labels, and often without doing research, both actions which are inexcusable seeing as how we're in the INFORMATION AGE!

Many parents are comfortable with their diet and are resistant to change even if the child gives reasons as to why they want to eat healthier. Parents and self supporting adults are to blame for the extra pounds.

  • u americans consume so much fatfood fries burgers hotdogs etc bacon, u name it..

so yea thats probebly the reson

  • Wow. Some people are really coming up with the most rediculous things I have ever heard. I can honestly say I'm overwieght because I eat too much crap. Oh, and it's all American food. Geezus, there are alternatives. And I'm veering away from the unneccisarily lard-like food, and getting my ass up once in a while to excersice. It's not going to kill me.

  • It would be nice if fast food places were not so bad for us. I mean yeah we can just stop going to them, but the majority of american's lives are so busy, that its almost there only option some days. Unless your family has a high paying job with little hours, then you probably eat strange healthy foods everyday.

  • True. But you guys should really lísten to him. He wánts to know more about this. So don't regret him for some ignorant things he could've said. Listen to the last words he said.

@wowautumn1000 I don't like holland, but I won't move cause I've friends here and stuff. And he didn't said he didn't líked it there.. Think before you write something -.-

  • Im a chubby canadian :I

  • Unsubscribed.

This is completely ignorant. Yes American's are fatter, because of our culture. I've only known ONE person who blamed being overweight to have a "Glandular Problem" and she really did have one. Maybe you should educate yourself a bit before you post a video on youtube saying that American's are fat and blame it on a medical disorder for 11,000 people to see. Move to Europe or some shit if you dont like it here.

  • @wowautumn1000 did you watch the video? greg plainly says "unless some kind of horrible thats spreading throughout the united states almost exclusively, I significantly doubt that is a legitimate excuse, considering so few people suffer from glandular issues." next time try watching the video in its entiret, rather than hearing the first 15 secs and reading the title and making ASSumptions.

  • @wowautumn1000 blah blah blah i have issues blah

  • @maxmra Fuck off, i dont have "issues".

  • I think, one: americans attitude, and two: it has become so normal to be fat so people don´t see it has so wrong and unusual anymore.

  • 1 simple solution: stop eating fast food and walk more.

I was always chubby. I got to 240lbs at one point. I ate fast food 10+ times a week because I didn't know how to cook and I lived alone. I drove everywhere. Worked all the time, so "no time to exercise". I assume this sounds familiar.

A few years ago I moved to Brazil. I have no car and there is only 1 McDonald's in my city. I walk, ride the bus, and have learned to cook. I still eat well.

In less than 1 year I was down to 180lbs.

  • @zapruderOfilms congratz like ur story! :)

  • It's a well known fact that many Americans are allergic to exercise.

  • imma healthy person. i'm good with my body i eat healthy i exercise often and i have good friends to encourage this, but i am a little bit chubby =) its ok though cuz its not that much

  • I blame the government. As I do everything else.(: They're supposed to take care of us, right? We voted for them to, we trusted them to, and yeah, they're humans, too, but really? You signed up for it. Fix our damn problems. Stop feeding us this shit with adulterated hormones, and poisonous fertilizers. Sorry. I'd rather eat something that's NORMAL. (I'm a vegetarian. <3 )

  • personal i think chubby girls can be cute....but when ur a dude and u have boobs..its time to excercise.....

  • I think it is just self control, but another thing is high fructose corn syrup which stops your bodies signs to tell you your full, and alot of our food has high fructose corn syrup. Ya......... we are all screw ups

  • Thats america! We are fat. Half of our ppl are fat and is sickening. god intended for us to healthy. not 200 lbs overweight

  • Im a 15 year old girl and I have been struggling to keep my weight normal most of my life, I was diagnosed with a GLAND PROBLEM called hashimoto's disease or autoimmune hypothyroiditis in fourth grade. I also happen to live in America. I am one of the many americans who struggles with this common disease and I think we should get at least a LITTLE respect from you. Have YOU ever had to deal with a disease that you know will affect your whole life and your kids lives?

  • Thank god I'm French : DDD

  • Overeating, or compulsive eating disorder, is as much an eating disorder as anorexia or bulimia.

  • Then don't come to Germany. Germans are the fattest Europeans. I am skinny... but still...

  • I have huge endocrine issues BIG time, maybe the food makes us that way and we can not change it even after multiple drugs. and maybe ppl who do not have endocrine issues just say they do so they do not have to look as bad for it... also Heredity, if you grandparents ate like pigs you are more likely to be fatter quicker. IDK

  • err i think that there arnt many cases of people claiming thyroid conditions. Who are you to question the validity of someone elses problem, anyone with a thyroid condition would be truly offended. And i think most fat people commenting and on youtube would agree when i say they dont make shit up about why they are fat, we not particularly thyroid conditions.

  • Because you can't control yourselfs. The government has to make decisions for you. Plus I bet when you went to the other countries, they said wow look at that what an idiot.

  • im considered "overweight". i have a proper diet. i love fruits and veggies. i eat properly. however i have Exercise-Induced Asthma. which is diagnosed by my doctor. which means when i do the smallest amount of exercise i basically go into a mini asthma attack. i almost died in school during gym, because the gym teacher thought i was "making it up."

  • People are fat because they are lazy. Plain and simple. Work out=no fat.

  • mmmhhm, so, now Onision is a doctor/psychologist?

the rate of Hypothyroidism is higher in the U.S, because of contamination problems... of water, food, air, ect.

if you go to Mexico city, people eat healthy there, but the obesity rate is comparable to the U.S... and Mexico city happens to be the most polluted city in the hemisphere... links there? buddy?

  • << Pregnant. Haha. Yeah I feel like a fatty.

  • you are accurate.

    stupid fat-asses

  • The "Thyroid", is a gland and when that gland goes bad and stops producing the hormone for metabolism which is your body's ability to burn fat then you tend to put on weight, Hypothyroidism. When your thyroid makes too much of the hormone we tend to burn more fat with little physical activity, Hyperthyroidism. "Glandular problems" is just a general term used to describe this condition.

  • Look, if youre so ashamed of the USA......move. But just don't come to Canada, we don't want you, we have better more respectable people to critizice us, and that seems to be what you like to do.

youre not god, stop looking down on everyone.

  • One word for what is happening in the united states. Depression. It happens in other places to but the self harm rates are higher or other coping mechanisms have been found. In the USA the majority has found food as a coping mechanism. Depression caused by a lack of purpose or want to be better.Anorexics don't complain they take action to change to try and make themselves happy.

  • What the fuck is wrong with being fat? Didn't you state in your previous videos that be yourself who gives a fuck?

  • Then MOVE away from the USA. Please!!!!!!! We Americans don't want your judgments placed upon us. Who are you? A little skinny wimp with a video camera and a carrot. Get a Burger, and think of how you can really help the world, and help people that are suffering, when ALL of the people are saved, then grab your video camera and talk about that. If you don't like how Americans eat, then leave this country, one less whiny pretentious wanna-be to listen to

  • its worse in this economy too cuz if u go to the supermarkets and such the bad food is cheaper!!! am i the only one who thinks this is wrong?!

  • It may also depend on region. Where I live (Rural Southwestern U.S.A.) much food is grown and many people hunt and fish their own food. Obesity is very rare where I live. I stand at approximately five and a half feet tall and weigh about 140 lbs, I believe that's a very healthy size. I eat very little fruit and/or vegetables (however I do try to eat them more often), eat a lot of grain, and a lot of seafood. Not much red meat.

  • [Continued] available. Which is often greasy foods. So when you read this don't reply to harshly I'm only 13 so please take it easy on me. Thank you.

  • So I may be wrong on this but here is my theory. I believe we , Americans, are gullible, and the marketing systems see that and take advantage of this. They see that as long as it has a catchy jingle or a phrase that gets stuck in our heads so to speak they can sell us whatever they want. True we have a choice as to what we eat but most have very little or no time to go and cook something healthy or to try to find something healthy at a fast food place which is highly unlikely so we eat what is

  • I'm not fat, but I feel People don't have excuses for being fat. Yes, there is low metabolism, but there are pills that will effect your weight and food that won't. Yes, there is thyroid disease, but there are medical procedures to fix this. Being fat sucks, but there ARE ways to fix it. And I understand, it's hard. Go vegan. I know, you don't want to give up meat but it WORKS. You'll be healthier and less... big. If you're fat and you feel there is no way, looks it up. There ARE ways.Dedication

  • Thyroid problems are real.

    They ARE CAUSED!! by diet!!!!!

thats why you see more of it.

Fat people RUIN their glands and hormones... All that weight really changes the chemistry that is so sensitive within us.

It can cause Thyroid problems which just makes it harder to lose weight..

BUT this is not an excuse. Eatting healthy will start to help and the thyroid WILL HEAL!! and stop eating junk food and taking prescriptions for everything! Diet & Exercise !

    Raw+Organic= good food

  • @kitty16226 No, it's dieting that ruins your hormones. People who are fat are told by others to go on a diet, which messes up their metabolism.

  • @TimmyGal I wasn't saying to diet, i was meaning that people need to make a permanent change to what they put into their body. when i said the word *diet* i meant what they eat forever.. not just stop eating sweets or carbs or fats for a week and expect a good result, then go back to eating unhealthy. People with health problems really do need to change what they eat for the rest of their lives.

  • The prices on healthy food are a lot less accessable pricewise, where as, you can buy a "dinner" at McDonalds for less than $5. Also, the American lifestyle is SO much more sedentary than in other countries. Look at our school system, we have kids who only get 20 minutes of recess a day and 1 day of Phys Ed. a week. Then when they get a job, they work in an office 8 hours a day...

  • @mainecolbs It may not be cheaper to eat that crap.. Spend 5$ on some canned foods?! seriously that is like 3 cans of soup :) then you have 3 meals and 10$ to save 3 meals a day @ 5$ = 450$ a month.. that is more then i spend on real food. so with 450 to go grocery shopping.. hit the local PRODUCE section. get organic veggies! 1 organic vegetable = about 1$ with your 5$ you can make mm SALAD! Your body will thank you. Mental alertness you didn't know you lack more energy sick less often etc
  • culture. our mindview. American dream, rights, live on pleasure. When we've got it good, we have more time to spend thinking about ourselves.

  • Is it wrong if you are over weight but happy with your body?

  • @killerpills I`m not sure if you should be happy that you are overweight, but you should be happy and positive about who you are. But don`t let that go to your head or you will get bigger and ignore that you are overweight in the first place.

  • @killerpills No, not at all... I mean this world sucks for the most part, and you're not getting out of it while you're stuck inside your body, so you might as well customize your body to be the way you like it, yeah? It's like the only thing we have even a little control over :/

  • @killerpills Id say its wrong that you are overweight and happy with your health. I personally work out for health, not for a "sexy body". Also when people eat delicious but fat and greasy food they do it for enjoyment, the same reason a person would smoke marijuana. (It makes you feel good). I try to eat the most healthy and un-enjoyable foods possible to detach myself from comfort and nourish my body. Ultimately if you are fat, you are not happy with it, that is another scapegoat

  • @killerpills nah its not wrong, but to avoid health concerns its a good idea to keep healthy

  • @killerpills

No, but it's wrong to be happy about being unhealthy. Overweight or slim, obese or anorexic, unhealthy is unhealthy. Just my 2 cents.

  • @killerpills I don't see it as wrong at all really as long as you're not continuing to gain weight. I also think you should still put effort into losing weight even if you're comfortable with youself, just to make yourself healthier and you may feel pretty good once you've shed some pounds. Not just about you're body but also cause there'd be the sense of having achieved something.

I totally agree with Onision, way to many people lie and blame it on that crap. =\

  • @killerpills no

  • @killerpills No...however, your heart and arteries may state otherwise..

  • @killerpills Yes because you are unhealthy and you rob yourself of you full potential both mentally and physically.

  • @killerpills it isnt wrong, it just means you can accept it, if you want to keep the weight, well that's you, if you are happy with your body but you just want to be skinnier well again, that's you.

  • I have Cushings disease 10 in every million, so yes we're rare but still we get such a hard time. Yes I'm diseased but its not obeisity its a tumor in my brain producing too much cortizol. The food in America is way more processed than Europe.

  • There is also such a thing a s medication...

  • I think the spike in glandular disorders come from our food, not in the sense that we eat to much ( even though...a lot of people do obviously) but in the steroids and unnatural tampering that is a part of our food to market system.

  • One way you could get to the truth is to compare the percentage of thyroid disorders in pets in the US with pets in other countries. No one has any prejudice against a pet with a thyroid condition. The vet doesn't say to a cat, "stop eating, you slob." If the percentage is higher in the US for pets too, then you know it's an actual bigger issue for Americans.

  • So many people are weak willed and have to make an excuse of why their fat, I know how I got fat its not some disease,it what you and how much you take in.I would say it's mostly the mentally weak who can't lose the weight. They say they've tried every thing, but did you really try I think. I was 318 pounds now I'm 250 pounds its not hard to lose weight you just have keep going at it.It's not going to be easy or fast like you would want it to be.

  • I've had two pregnancies in the past 2 and a half years. I am still struggling to lose the weight from these pregnancies. Are you just an extremely active person with a good metabolism or do you have a workout routine? If you do what does it involve?

  • not just the food but there are health problems that can cause you to be over weight... My cousin has it.. o.o

  • Why are you wearing a girl's hat?

  • I have to agree that there are a lot of people who use disorders as an excuse. I mean there are some people who I know have the issues. My mom suffers from thyroid problems, she hardly eats enough to be fat, yet she has weight issues, but I also know a girl who like says she has a problem with her glands, and she will hork down like 5 cheese burgers. Seriously if you're sick should you even be eating that kind of food? AND in that Quantity? I think it gives the actual sick people a bad rep.

  • Well, um its because um., onision is dume head and um he iz not smarty um ND EZ not zez smartilce as i andz... yeah you guys are fat because of your own doing so shut up

  • America is brainwashed. They don't think for themselves.

  • FAT PEOPLE SUCK

  • Unfortunately, a LOT of people in our culture can NOT take responsibility for their own actions. Everything is always someone else's fault. As consumer's we're directly in control of what food is available to us. And since we choose unhealthy foods....that's what becomes easily available. Once people re-educate themselves on how to shop and cook healthy, nothing will change. It's not the governments responsibility, it's everyone's individual responsibility.

  • 42 fat people rated this video down =(

  • @BooterGoneMad2010 XD!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HAHAHA

  • Well, I'm fat, and I eat out about maybe twice a year. I go on walks daily, I know whats in the food I cook. But I also had an operation that is causing me to have to take hormone-replacements for the rest of my life. That is why I am fat.

  • HAHAHAHA Fat people!

  • when i was in 7th grade, my languge arts teacher told me that in America, Americans are considered fatter and lazier compared to the rest of the world. Maybe we really do eat more than we're supposed to?

  • It sucks because it's a growing problem. 50% of weight is linked to genetics, so the fatter we become the fatter our kids become (or have a harder time staying fit). Begs the big brother approach of allowing only fit people to reproduce. haha. Although I'm learning in my nutrition courses now that America tends to eat until you're "full" and by that time you've consumed too much. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we learned most asian countries eat until 80% full. That's smart. Moderation is the key

  • I'm fat because i eat when i get board and when im not hungry because food taste good. But, I am working to stop that and i have been losing wight so far about 15lb just watching what i eat and when i eat. Lol at glandular problems... XD

  • americas food is terrible everything is like supersized and stuff. i know what you mean you made a good point

  • Nice hat.

  • Americans are generally fatter and they cant blame anyone for it... why? You cant get fat if your not dedicated to it and saying "its the food" is just kinda pathatic? Make your own food perhaps?

  • i think glandular probs are self inflicted if so many fat americans use it as an excuse

  • Lol, I have the opposite problem with my glands (too skinny). I weigh 80 pounds, and my mom has that "fat" gland problem, but she is NOT fat. There are medications for it, so it really isn't a reason. My mom is like 135 pounds, she's slightly overweight from kids. She eats so healthy, she exercises an hour daily and walks everywhere too. All hers does is affect her losing weight but the medicine made her lose 10 fast. It is an excuse.

  • It does start with parental guidance but a person can control their lives to a certain extent and weight is a very controllable part of our lives. I do agree with what you said about the US being defective because there are so many immoral and stupid things going on in this country while so many people claim it to be the best of all countries.

  • Well, Onision, I am thinking of starting an all vegetarian diet for a month starting now. Thanks to you. Im not joking.

  • i feel that money is also an issue because those foods are cheap and fill a person very fast and many people feel they dont have the time to exercise which is a lie as well as people know effects yet they dont care because those foods go to the point of disrupting ur endocrine system

  • People are fat because they eat too much and eat the wrong foods. People in this country are slobs. That is why healthcare costs so much. The people who live healthy lives have to pay for those who do not.

  • I'd like to point out that there are genetic factors as well as social factors involved in the problem of fat people. If one parent has a gland problem then their kid has a chance of getting that disorder and since most people have kids with people living in the same country then it can be attributed to the localization of the phenomena of fat people. If a kid is raised by fat parents then they will most likely to learn the habit of eating more than they need thereby spreading the fatness.

  • Fluoride in the water is part of the problem. as well.

  • @TheInternetG There is Flouride in the water here too.. I'm in canada

  • @TheInternetG rlly??

  • I actually know someone who used to be heavy from thyroid problems. I'm not sure if thats different from what you're saying but he got on medication, lost like 60 pounds on weightwatchers, and now he's healthy and thin. Maybe people need to, oh I don't know, TRY?

  • @AdamRaceToTheMat oh btw I support vegetarianism, so you don't need to tell me how awesome it is. I already know. Maybe we need to tell the fat Canadians, Australians, Brittish, etc, that meat is unhealthy too, instead of just gaining up on a scapegoat.

  • @AdamRaceToTheMat @AdamRaceToTheMat I know what he's saying, but he points out that meat makes you fat, then he points out that Americans are really fat, hinting that Americans are tremendous meat eaters. I'm not saying Americans don't eat meat, but I AM saying that other countries do it as well. Another thing, I'm not saying that I LIKE people eating meat, I'm just pointing out that you shouldn't slap America's hand for eating it, then falsely praise another country for not eating it.

  • Well, we Americans ARE fat.....haha i'm so glad i'm not, but then again...i'm not full American. That must be why xD

  • i hate it when people say oh my mom and dad is fat so i am fat beacuse of jeans that really pisses mii off cuz my mom and dad are skinny and i am fat!!!

  • As a fat person, I feel as though I can safely assume that I DO NOT have a gland problem - and am in fact just fat due to lifestyle choices, etc. That being said - I feel that there are the legitimate few who actually DO have gland problems and are fat as a result. Everyone else just decided to jump on that band wagon so they weren't perceived as lazy over-eaters by judgmental skinny people. -_-

  • you tell people to do there research on vegetarianism however it always seem you don't do that much research yourself. I live in canada, and I've watched my mother try to lose weight all her life, but she has a thyroid condition, that simply won't let her lose weight. really shes tried everything!

  • @thetanplzer

Has she tried the Dr.Simmons wheight loss protocol?

It corrects thyriod and Pituitary problems.

Well, I'm sure about the pituitary one.....get her the book "the wieght loss cure "They" don't wnat you to know about"

  • @thetanplzer What he's saying, I think anyway, is that people like your mother, that truly DO have a medical issue, are the minority. I seriously don't think that he's talking about people like her. There are a LOT of people, the U.S. anyway, that have glandular problems and other medical issues BECAUSE they are obese, not the other way around, like your mom. :)

  • Did she try not getting fat in the first place?

  • @thetanplzer Not everybody has that issue.

  • @thetanplzer he wasnt talking about people who really had problems he was talking about people who eat supersized mcdonalds 3 times a day and say they have problems, bc my mom has a thyroid condition too and she cant lose weight becuase of what it does to how you digest your food

  • @thetanplzer He didn't say that these conditions were non-existent in other countries, he said that they were not common. Pay more attention.

  • @thetanplzer Read the description under the video, he says there are people who do have problems, but not every single person in the world has an issue like that.

  • @thetanplzer all he said was that there were more fat people in the us than other places, not that there were no fat people at all in other places.... and i don't think he can find out that much about your mom on the internet unless she is a porn star or something.... and you already said shes fat so......... :D

  • @thetanplzer my cat had that

  • @thetanplzer But he wasn't talking about your mom. . .

  • @thetanplzer He means in general Americans are fatter than people from other countries. One person doesn't really make a difference.

  • @thetanplzer true. but still, thats not the situation for MOST ppl. oh and my mom has a thyroid thing too, and i live in vancouver

  • @thetanplzer

yes but dont you see that THATS YOUR MOTHER and she is a minority i have the same situation with an aunty of mine who cant gain weight due to a thyroid condition so i understand how bad it can be. but you cant say the vast majority of obese people have a thyroid condition. some people are just obese cause they have bad diets.

  • Canadians are catching up.

  • Fat, fat, burger, burger!

  • Thumbs up.

  • if at all possible add me to friends so i can message you on this one, i got more to say

  • i take extreme offense to this video. overall 'making fun' of people with diseases that they cannot controll is unacceptable. your obviously uneducated on things such as hypothyroidisms like i have, as it is probably a much more exisisting thing than you think, as it is a private one. up to 1 in 25 people in the world have this disease. it has to do with iodine dificiencies in your diet, which does have to do with the soil that your food is grown in

get back to me please. ~cman

  • The first time I went into an American resteraunt I was shocked. What you guys eat as appetizers are main meals in regular resteraunts/households in Canada. No joke. FYI it's not a salad if there's cheese and bacon in it. :o That might have sounded harsh.. But I didn't mean it to be。

  • @ChibiWonders I'm from Canada too, and what you said is true about their appetizers being our main courses, and our main courses sometimes are even too big to eat without being overly full.

Another thing is most restaurants there have added butter, salt and just little things making the calorie content go higher and higher for no reason, unlike our restaurants.

I'm not sure if Canada is the same as most other countries in the way of not adding unneeded additives, but it sure makes a difference.

  • I'm skinny. I eat fatty foods and don't get fat...it might be my ago though.

The Americans who are geniunely skinny and don't have eating disorders I think mostly get that from genetics.

Everyone else...it seems like are either fat or at least could lose some weight, or have dangerous eating disorders.

America, I think, has no disease. The advertisments were aimed toward healthy things too late. Everyone is all "go healthy!" when everyone around them has been eating fast food forever. ..idk

  • I eat fast food about 5 times a week. But I'm also VERY skinny. I think it's because I'm out skating everyday. So my conclusion to staying skinny is, if you wanna eat like a fatty, you gotta balance it out with exercise.

  • there is no bad food just bad chemicals in our food

  • Onision you aren't blind. I have got plenty of genetic reasons to be fat, but I choose to fight against them, and I am no where near fat.

  • The cause of americas fatness is that the food companes put fattening and addicting chemichals in the food. AKA preservatives and flavor enhancersAKA splenda. In other countries, all the food is 100% organic. Look it up, the part about organicness. And yes, they only put the chemichals in the food to make us fat, addicted, and get a little more money. Also, if diet food really worked, would there be any buissness left for the diet food industry? Diet foods are worse.

  • @penguinofhell You can eat healthy food (veggies, fruits), not food you know are full of stuff that will fatten you and make you sick.

  • @kipperkell Yea, well, ever heard of pesticides? Thats in friuts and veggies. You think its good to eat that stuff?

Thats why it has to be organic.

  • @penguinofhell No its not good, but its not fat either and thats what we're talking about.

  • @kipperkell Did you know, in certain parts of the world a few hundred years ago, people lived off of meat and its fat? And they drank the blood of the animals? THat should make you fat, right? WRONG!!! No one was fat. (of course, i support vegitarianism)

  • @penguinofhell I support it too :)

And I think its because they were so active and what not, not lazy like nowadays.

Eating fatty foods is only half the problem, and I think we can all agree on that.

  • @kipperkell

Yea, but I'm a lazy ass and I eat like crazy, but I'm not fat.....Now why is that? Mabye its because the Governments drugs are not working on certain people....If it was fatty foods and no exersize, then I would be about 200 pounds. I'm 15. yea. Also notice how hard it is too lose wieght. Back then, in early america, if you got fat, just eat less for a few days, and the fat was gone. (for those the were fat)

  • @penguinofhell I'm pretty lazy as well, and I eat a lot, but I'm not fat either :P

    High metabolisms ftw!

  • im fat because i eat way to much for my size
