Geraldo should talk about his constructing the drug overdose theory together with Thompson & Cole who later wrote The Death of Elvis to boost the low TV rates of 20/20 in 1979. These guys built their career on Elvis in a very negative way. They construed things and still to so to this day - it was stated officially once more in 1994 that Elvis Presley did not die of a drug overdose - the State of Tennessee orderd a new investigation back then. But Geraldo - the sucker - just keeps going on...

@patriciaobrian one of the stanley kids was on Geraldo. this is the stanley that brought elvis his drugs and he said it was suicide taht elvis took twice his normal doses that day of drugs and did it on purpose.  I don't believe your statement that they said it was not drugs that killed him. rubbish. Of course that is what they initally said and it was ruled a lie. absurd

I read this book .I must say i enjoyed it very much.I haven't read all the books out there about elvis but of all i have read this is the best ,it is a more intimate look at elvis and lindas relationship. Wonderful private photos

Yes, she looks so different. On the other hand, Geraldo is very fortunate for having met Elvis and talked to him in such intimate terms. I mean, to find out that he was like a little boy...

Jeanne said he was like a little boy--NOT Geraldo. He said Elvis was shy, and just went along with the other. Elvis was shy and reserved in life until he got to know someone--I would call it cautious, as he had to be. Elvis only displayed that little boy quality with his women. Kathy Westmoreland said he would give her that "little boy look" when she was mad at him such as when he was teasing her in front of people because it took her five weeks to decide to become sexually involved with him.

I find reaction to Elvis is so different amongst people. The one thing that's mostly universal was a consensus to his talent. It's hard to say how he felt about all the women in his life, like ranking them to who he loved the most. Priscilla is a strange southern belle who'd blow you off in one second flat. She is no doubt a calculating person. The rest of them we hardly know unless you want to do the research. Elvis was a victim of his fame and genetics.

Priscilla was NOT a a Southern belle at all! She was born in New York,and traveled with her military family. She met Elvis in Germany because her step dad was stationed there. Elvis left Germany in March 1960, and she moved to Memphis 3 years later in March 1963 when she was turning 18.

There is a lot of info on Elvis's women, and you do not have to do much research. Peter Guralnick's Careless Love, Last Train to Memphis, and Elvis Day by Day gives the basics including his main affairs

interesting all these comments how people portray how they seen elvis' life to be the only one who will ever know was elvis himself id like to think he loved the women from what ive seen n read ann margaret was his love but priscilla was living with him and he did say hed marry her so true to his word he did but shes a beautiful women worthy of elvis love but he did change her to suit his looks of the ideal woman for him where as linda thompson already looked that way so who really knows

Really? I dont know,they say it showed that when Priscilla Devorced him, his weight went crazy,he stopped caring, he took it really hard, he'd call or show up at all hours of the night to visit her and Lisa.I honestly think if he had gotten back with Priscilla, he would have lived a few years longer..Not too much longer because no one could tell Elvis what to do, but he would have live ahile longer.He just past the time with the other girls but his heart was always with Priscilla

She had his little girl and SHE WOULDNT leave ihim in peace always digging around him for more! Elvis was a gentleman to the core and never let up on her whom yes he married on his word but lived to regret it...period! Love he felt for her was of a different kind!!
