But in short the GT is not as good as an SLR simply because if you place it next to a real competitor like a McLaren MP4-12C or a Lamborghini LP570-4 or Ferrari 458 it wont last. And trust me on this an SLR if driven right will destroy a GT. A GT will hit 0-60 mph in 3.4 sec while a SLR does it in 3.2. The GT will hit 205 mph max while the SLR hits 211 mph

When it was run in an official test by the Officials at the high speed rink in Italy, they stated that they clocked the car doing 0-100 km in other words 0-62mph in 3.2 and maxed it to 211 mph. plus they futher said that if the weather was better the car would run faster. And as far as what i have i got a SLR and it better than your ford mondeo.

It's more at home among a Ferrari F430 scuderia or a 458. You can also throw in the Lamborghini LP550-2 or any mid mounted engine car except the MP4-12C and the GT will come up almost always on top. I really like both cars, but the ford GT takes the prize. yeah it might not have all the fine touches of a mercedes, but thats because its more of a track car in the first place.Yeah the mercedes may have a top notch engine but the GT will make it around a track first 100 out of 100 times.
