Everytime I think of your smile -- your eyes -- your voice -- I get closer to Heaven. This song is for us, My Darling of Heaven and Earth -- Barbra. We were together for only two years before The Christ called you Home. Wait for me on Heaven's resplendent and eternal shore. I long to be with you -- My Eternal Beloved -- My Darling Wife. Thank you, APP!
And to think Eric left us one year ago today, it feels like only yesterday. So sad that he died before his time. It is almost certain that I was listening to his music when he died, because I had just discovered the APP and was listening to it nonstop.
Having listened to all of the APP albums and what I was able to find of Freudiana and the Project That Never Was, I'd have to conclude that Eric was a musical genius. Give him back, God, he wasn't finished!
This song was played at my Fathers Wedding... It has much Sentimental Meaning to me. Since I could walk my dad introduced me to the amazing Alan Parsons Project.. Thanks For Sharing!
unknown...unheard...yet good enough to be the climateric sound of a classic miami vice episode with lou diamond-phillips and viggo mortensen. uncredited of course.
the mind reels and boggles that the works of The APP aren't recognized, but to quote Elphaba 'what a world'.
thanks for posting this. i can't find the cd anywhere around me.
Red Tape episode from MIAMI VICE (1987). its sad how my favorite actor (Lou) gets gunned down in the pier by some thug with a .38 cal near a boat, but he did a good job trying to avenge his partner who got blown away near a front doorstep of a club in the beginning part of the episode (Viggo).
this episode almost brings a tear to my eye along with Definitely Miami.
Lou Diamond Phillips got a couple of bad guys before they got him. Phillips was killed by the lead bad guy before the lead bad guy blew himself away because he was surrounded. I just hope when Phillips died on there he knew that Rico did not sell him out. Also, Viggo was not blown up on the front door step of a club as he was blown up breaking in the apartment door of what they thought was a bad guy at the start of the episode, but was really a booby trap. Red Tape >>> Definitely Miami!

Excellent all around, and the sequence from 2:23-3:12 is immortal. This MUST be heard on headphones--how'd they DO that?

Correction: I can't believe it, but just now I read Eric has died at the age of 64.
My deep feelings go to his family and friends. R.I.P. Eric.

Wow. I got here by accident tonight. I hadn't heard. I'm so sad to hear this news. I didn't even know he was sick.
