Bich's are nice guitars. Gibsons you pay for the name. Look up some BC Rich's on Google, the little stock one's are crap, but there's a whole other tier of BC Rich guitars which are handmade in the USA and coveted by players who are sick of the same ole Fender, Gibson shit.

I've got an NJ Bich from the 80s and a black Les Paul Standard and I prefer the Bich.

i dunno if u know this yet, but try putting your ring finger over the 2nd and 3rd string (bigger strings lolz) and put your index finger on the 1st string. put it on a note, and you should be lifting your middle finger when you do this. Play it, and there you go. You've got a power chord.

Actually, I love to see kids enthusiastic about music. Just keep working at it. It does not matter how you start off, nobody is great in the beginning. But if you love it, and you feed it, it will grow into something amazing. Music is a passion of mine, I just wish "I" had more natural talent for it.

If I were going to form a band, and do classic rock, I'd call it something like "Deja Vu" (which has probably already been used by some band, somewhere), or maybe "Classic Ethos".

some tips on the guitar is that i used to suck balls until i reasised that the bars meant fret numbers 5 7 9 12 15 and 17 and if you practice alot you will probably get alot better

PS go from lowest string to highest and do this

5-7 (higher string) REPEAT UNTIL YOUR AT THE HIGHEST STRING
