I was a boxer and my daughter was a world champion kickboxer. Watching this film was the only time I `ve ever seen her cry and it brought tears to my eyes.

The last scene of the movie, where the camera zeros in on the diner......I wondered, and wondered, and came to the realization: I remembered that early in the movie Clint and Maggie had a piece of lemon pie, and Clint stated "that now he could die and go to heaven",........maybe in the last scene, through the window, where I believe he's in the restaurant......my theory was that's what he wanted after all.

The lady who plays the 'Blue Bear' is Lucia Rijker, a boxer in real life...and this movie was a sort of biographical for her. Some scenes that were very moving actually happened to her....sort of sad. I respect her for being in a sport where women aren't taken as seriously as men.
