What does he mean enemies abrupt respawn can be a good scaring tool, but if you abuse it the result is poor? Is he talking about something in the gameplay, or the effect the game takes on you? Because i'm planning on downloading this.

To turn fullbright on just hold down the . or > key. It will increase the ambient light level :D

I got goosebumps and my heart started beating harder just looking at this. Definitely will have to get this. It's a shame that many of the originally scary horror games have lost their way and turned into action shooters rather than actual horror. Kudos to the author for making this. I can tell I will have many a sleepless night over this.

Scaring factor is higly subjective. Besides, this game is well created, if you consider that behind the product you talked about you can find an entire team of professionals, and behind this just an amateur.

Clipboards are hanging on walls. You need to interact with them, pressing action key (|E|, maybe).

If I can remember correctly, to find the shotgun, you should go left from the first hall.

it reminds me of FEAR aswell, because:

1) its the same bland room \ coridor over and over again.

2) the graphics are bland and boring

3) is the same enemy over and over again

@68000cpu FPSC is not the Unreal engine, idTech, Source, CryEngine, or any other big-name game engine. It's an affordable package for people who want to make games on little to no budget. There are a limited number of stock models, textures and sound effects. For what little there is to work with, it's a well-done game, I'd say.
