Themodist Pianola/The Prichard Collection

How can the pianola themodize the notes shown? The roll shown is a regular roll without the additional themodist punch perforations.

This particular roll is a standard, yes... the unit gives the pianolist the option to themodize manually. Themodist rolls automatically themodize via small perforations in either margin when used on this machine. Thanks!

@cutiekarinmosser no, not correct - you don't grasp how themodist system works at all. Themodist rolls do NOT "automatically themodize" anything. Where notes have a matching themodist perforation IF the pianolist draws the modulating levers across the pianola subdues suction level (and playing intensity) of all notes APART from the ones which line up with the themodist slots. Those are pinged out at whatever full pressure is being applied to the treadles hence the THEME is "themodized" clearly.
