@allymc77 No it didn't burn my eyes because it was lake, no it didn't burn my nose because I wasn't giong upside down in the water, there wasn't that much sand, only near the water but I didn't go there because of the leeches. xD

@allymc77 It's more common that a chlorinated pool will burn more than a lake, river, or beach. the chemicals damage your eyes after a while, but the rest don't have chemicals. i've been under the ocean before, and it won't hurt your eyes

@dancer4800 Well, if your planning on just the play you don't need to make it swimmable. There are costumes and ways you can make those. If you plan on making it swimmable, there are tons of videos on here you can look at. Look up how to make a mermaid tail.
