  • Fantastic! Waiting for his next interpretation of a Yes song! Such a strong left hand.

  • This a fantastic artist ! Patrick Moraz couldn't do better ... This is the best rendition of Yes I have ever seen, even considering Rick Wakeman... It must be a great honour for Yes to see their music performed like this. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video !

  • Bravo Mr. Prutsman!

  • Wow, to hear Soundchaser this way with the same drive as the original. This piano piece proofs it's a very interesting number by Yes, made in a time they could make these breathtaking songs I have been listening to for about 35 years. Hopefully mr. Prutsman makes more of these interpretations of Yes music ( from the seventies that is, the rest is bullshit ) I will buy the CD !

  • Hats off! (Somebody get this guy a bench!)

  • Wow!!!!

  • That's just really great!

  • One of Yes' most under-rated tracks IMHO, from an under-rated album. In terms of musicianship, I think Relayer is my top album. A one-off record, with that unique line-up of Moraz and the fab four. ...And I wonder how many notes this guy has memorised in 9 mins?

  • Fantastic!

  • Amazing indeed! I agree completely with jmorell22.

  • Unbelievable!! I´m completely astonished... Never thought I´d ever see this whole song with complete arrangements in a piano only version. Congratulations and cheers from Brazil!!

  • Wow! I`m utterly blown away. An incredible version of Sound Chaser. I was mesmerised from the first note to the last .I`m sure if the guys from YES see this they`ll be shaking their heads in disbelief, and I mean that in a good way. Indeed, YES music will still be interpreted for many, many years to come.

  • This is one of the best things I've ever seen on YouTube. What a brilliant interpretation and superb playing. Thankyou.

  • Incroyable musicien pour un morceau aussi fou. Merci

  • do you have the music sheet please?

    you're great congratulations

  • It's incredible. Never seen before. Really great. Is there a cd to buy?

  • My first reaction was: NO WAY NOWAY NOOOO NOWAY. OH GOD!

  • Counting form through rhythm... moves to counterbalance, etc. Absolutely great!!!! Cha-Cha-Cha!!!

  • Unbelievable !

This is one of the reasons people will be playing YES in 200 years time.

  • This is brilliant.

Indeed DimondR. Stand the test of time.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if Yes asked Stephen to fill in!! Excellent!!!

  • Wow The music of YES standing the test of time! I love it!!!

  • FAN-F'IN-TASTIC!!!! excellent choice, excellent arrangement.

  • Remarkable!

  • I'd rather see Jon Anderson performing with Stephen than with Rick Wakeman, honest...

  • I just have to share this!!! When Steve was in high school, our teacher would take him into another room and we would hit a note on the piano -- he always identified what note we were hitting. He has always been a prodigy on the piano. I always thought he played the piano better than what was composed, because he added embellishment to whatever he heard that were his alone. What an absolutely wonderful gift!!!

  • There is NO WAY this can be compared to high school. This is simply masterful. Wow!!

  • He is a genius!!! Always has been.

  • And now all of his fingers are broken.

    That was simply fantastic.

  • ASTOUNDING.

  • Please could you possibly give me any sheet music that you used to get the song to this level (Or are you an annoyingly cool genius who learnt such complex music by ear? :P) Even tips for the intro would be much appreciated. Thanks

  • Man I grew up with Steve glad to see he is still doing his thing. He played this well in High School. He was my accompanist one year for the Star Search Auditions.

His Sister Debbie was equally as talented as a guitarist and vocalist.

  • Genial!

  • Absolutely fantastic !

  • Utterly amazing and unreal...... :-O

  • Brilliant

  • Holy crap.

    Nice seat, haha.

  • OMG !!!

  • WOW! - completely agree with rphheather. I started to think "Did YES interpret a Rachmaninoff piece?". Soo well done Mr. Prutsman. props! I think Patrick Moraz and the rest of the band would be impressed.

  • What a fantastic rendition!.

  • Insane.

  • brilliant

  • great stuff just had that vision bring on sunhillow Steph

  • UNBELIEVABLE

  • A great find and an exceptional performance! Thanks for sharing.

  • Oh no you didn't!!!

  • Fantastic! It sounds as if this song was written for piano. Thank you for giving my favorite song the proper treatment. What an incredible tribute.

  • That's S I C K!

  • Extraordinary. I assume he didn't learn it from the sheet music!

  • By about 1:20...just WOW...WOW!

  • OH my God! I have never heard a "piano" version of Sound Chaser before this. I am totally impressed! Every single melody (Chris, Steve, Allan, and Jon) has been captured.......

  • This guy is seriously great. he plays it all so gracefully!!! Amazing!
