The voices of the demons and bad guys never was changed when the game was translated into english. The demon voices were changed on the remake though.
The remake apparently has cel-shaded 3D event movies, but the game itself looks the same, from what I understand. Other than the dialogue box, I can see they changed that.

persona is as much an rpg as re5 is survival horror, I'm tired of seeing this crap game wrongly clasified because it has a (shit) turned based combat system.

Ive played this. This is a really good game! Its from 1996 thats why the graphics are the way they are. Its not like when they made this game they could say "oh lets use PS3 graphics". What did you do back in the SNES days??? Not play any games because you were waiting for the PS3/Xbox 360 to be invented??? Come on dude. get real.
So there is no excuse for the game to look like a bad snes game on ps1 hardware, it's even less forgivable for a remake of the game on the more powerful psp to look so bad. It's lazy. Lazy developer, lazy game. It's just another in the long list of lazy, cheaply made jrpgs.
Alana is my favo character from this game. Can't wait to get my hands on the remake

The Shin Megami Tensei series is great, the first few games were alright, since it was when the snes came out
This is a remake of the first Persona game that came out on the playstation, but the american version was a bit bad since they removed/changed stuff
