Oh man. He was such an ass though. Refusing to let race officials check his car after a race, fights with nearly everyone but the hotdog vendor, temper tantrums beating on his own car with a wrench, and on and on. Rant Off. Go Johnny Rutherford! Thanks I needed to get that out.

Okay, so what? Do you think you know something we don't? A.J. showed the true emotions of the sport through his actions on and off the racetrack.
One thing you gotta remember about A.J. is that on the track he raced CLEAN. He didn't race fellow drivers wrong and he was highly respected for that.
