Im from Dallas. Yeah, he survived. Those mexicans were arrested later in that chase. The bullet holes were from PTR-91 rifle (.308 - auto).

They push holes through the glass after to see the bullet's trajectory if it wouldn't have been bullet proof, that's why there's sticks there.
