Try watching some of eddie matgers veds. there you can learn to skate.
The videos are supposed to be goofy, but they do give you the basics. Keep Knees slightly flexed or bent, push off to the sides, so you can be ready for forward motion and not lose your balance. Hope that helps.

If you really want learn to roller-blade go to watch some other videos.
