I just wish she'd do something original for an exhibition. "Lullaby for a Stormy Night" was already done wonderfully and recently by Beatrisa Liang. "You Raise Me Up" always makes me think of Kwan, Same thing for this one. I know no skater "owns" the music, but I'd like her programs more if they didn't immediately bring another skater to mind.

Even with the crap ass song, that was a beautiful performance and full technically too: 3-3 and a 3-2-2. Keeping in shape for nationals! I really hope she gets gold!

I want to know who's version of "On My Own" this is? I have never heard it before too. I probably would have perfered Caroline using a different version maybe Kaho Shimada's or Lea Salonga's. Other than that it was great, and I hope she does well at Nationals this week.

beautiful and refreshing...i get so tired of seeing skaters at shows like this that do maybe a couple double axels and sometimes not always one triple jump and then calling that a program. Caroline is wonderful!

Beautiful! I agree though that the voice took away from it, and I would love it without vocals. Could she use the music for an LP next season? I think it would suit her!

Who was singing the song. On my own is gorgeous but I felt like the voice took away from the performance because it was distracting. The singer may have been on key but there was an odd quality to the voice itself that I personally did not like.

I feel so fickle. I was just thinking her Lullaby for a Stormy Night is my new favorite, and now this! Breath-taking! Gutsy of her to go for the jump combos, and I luuuuuuuurve the new flying camel spin, so amazing! The upright backspin is really incredible too. Go Caroline, I'm rooting for you to win National's!
