Been a year and cant believe i missed this video...You say, HXT 9g servos? They hold up? i would think metal gear for-sure? or are the servos not the ones i'm thinking of.
Glad to see you liked the video, yes the servos held up great because the plane is so light . I would agree that if I had to do it again, I would install MG Servos..Thanks for the cool comment..Tim
@TinkerManRC nice i just ordered this thing and its my first electric plane...all the rest are nitro. and i can't wait.where do you buy all your batteries at. and any tips for buying stuff for electric...i would appretiate the help
check hobby king and hobby partz for batteries and Esc's just check a varity of sites you will find alot of stuff you need... Thanks for commenting and visiting..
Looks cool. I was thinking of getting ethier this or the electrifly reactor bipe. Looking for something that can do precise aerobatics, speed, and 3D. How does this one fly? I'd be coming from a parkzone extra.
Nice plane, Tim. I really appreciate you showing the "inner workings" of the plane. It sure helps a newbie like myself. I bought the Extra 330L EP kit. Thanks for making the vid and the good clear vid quality makes it easy for an old man to see. How do you balance your planes?
@BryansFlyin If I cann't feel the spar through the wing covering...I mark the suggested cg locations on top of wing, place fingers there, invert, then eyeball the levelness.
Suprised you using $2 servos in this TMRC. Thought you would have gone for metal or carbon gears. That rudder and elevator will be under some force. Nice though, we want one, maybe a 60 size gas one.
You see the model is very light and I'm really not going to run her to hard will see how they hold up I will be the test bed LOL may change out later. Thanks for the cool comment and concern on the servos..
