  • 1 thing to say....WTF is up with those channels o.o;; marrying your pet...welcome to the channel of beastliality =w=

  • 6:33-6:41 the answer to that problem is 41

  • 4:30-4:33 a little bit of proof that Slappy could just be a big kid at heart despite her usual grumpiness

  • 4:20-4:27 ok the less i know about what you've done with "Dr. Pepper" the better

  • The moral of this episode is don't channel surf through day time television during the 90s...then again, that true now as well.

  • This was pretty much a pilot of sorts for a Slappy Squirrel TV series. Too bad it never sold, Slappy Squirrel had TONS of potential for her own series

  • @wileyk209zback I Totally Agree with you on that.

  • 4:16 crotch shot:) You know for kids.

  • @ThatManinWhite man ever since the Nostalgia Critic came to power, this phrase can has been popping up everywhere I even use it myself sometimes

  • Slappy is cute

  • I read on tvtropes.org that the Arab dub for this episode had the part @ 4:13 edited to make it look like she kicked him in the gut instead of in the crotch.

  • this is a kid's cartoon segment but i can see the potential in using it for a psychiatry class.

  • 1996 - Crappy, stupid brain rotting talk shows...

    Evolved into....

2012 - Crappy, stupid brain rotting Reality TV shows...

I wonder what slappy's recation would be to the shitload known as Reality TV?

  • @jd007200 Yup, those shows are easily giving wholesome-minded teenagers and young adults like us gray hair and wrinkles for obvious reasons! Man, how time really flies!

  • I felt like I wanted to cry when Skippy began to tear up in his eyes. I actually felt like I wanted to have him at least live in a suitable home with good people till Slappy got back to normal.

  • I remember seeing this episode on TV when it first came out and I cried. It was just so sad to see.

  • "Men who date women who date men that are women..." If I thought about it correctly, then that means the women on that show must be pretty odd.

  • Poor Skippy......

  • Also this episode is beyond depressing.

  • Guys...is it scary that TV is now exactly what creeped Slappy out?

  • DAMN SLAPPY YOU CRAZY now i know why i set you up with tf prime megatron

  • why do i think slappy is hot

  • @cDC1457 Your not alone in that. I sometimes would think I'd love to get married to her and let her hug me, kiss me and make love to me, even if she is an older woman and I'm a younger man in my 20's. But the point is that your not alone, it's normal.

  • @Animeforever61 no thank you for being on my side dude

  • @cDC1457 Your welcome.

  • @Animeforever61 you rock

  • @cDC1457 Thanks.

  • @Animeforever61 yaaaah,,, youve not been watching the show properly have you?shes more likey to cover your mouth in tnt and filly your pants with explosives than she is to actually do anything romancy. shes the grumpy squirrell lol.

  • @kawrght I have watched the show before when I was a kid and I have watched it on DVD at home. I just end up wondering if she would ever get romancy and lovey dovey if she ever wanted to, I'm aware of the fact that she's a grumpy squirrel, in one episode, I remember she started hitting on some other guy at a party.

  • @Animeforever61 probably not, if she ever did it would have to be either someone she adores, or someone as grumpy as her

  • @kawrght Well, I suppose your right.

  • It doesn't take much to make a cartoon that makes people laugh. But these guys, Tom Ruegger, Sherri Stoner, Rusty Mills, Paul Rugg, Nicholas Hollander, Randy Rogel, John McCann, Peter Hastings, Tom Minton, Richard Stone, and many others really turned cartoon making into an art.

  • Supposedly no one really liked this this episode, not even the production crew--it was so depressing. It is kind of sad to see Slappy suffering from Alzheimer's-like symptoms and child protective services trying to take Skippy from her...although she she isn't too out of it to give ol' Walter what for.

  • "Is it true love or is it just a rash."

  • Men who date women who date men who are women...

    Lolwut?

  • This is one of my favourite Skippy and Slappy sketches. It's just fabulous. It also pulls at my heartstrings.

  • 1:49. Fanny Buttfield from a Tiny Toons episode!

  • Dr. Pepper had a nose job? When did this happen?

  • TOOT! TOOT!

  • Men who date women who date men who are women on the next Jenny Jones. This is why I don't watch television anymore.

  • "Aunt Slappy, what's wrong with you?"

Trust me, Skippy, wouldn't we ALL like to know.

  • There actually is an Oprah Channel now.

  • "Is it true love or is it just a rash?"..

I ask myself that all the time.

  • 1:36 - 2:27 is how i react to anything on the cartoon channels that isn't Pokemon or an old Spongebob episode nowadays.

  • Okay, I love you bye bye!

    That's mindy's phrase.

  • The scariest thing about this episode is the fact that there actually is an Oprah channel now.

  • 0:57 FREAKAZOID!!!!!!

  • UPDATE: This part was also chosen for a Youtube Partnership.

  • Slappy predicted Oprha's channel o.o

  • I hate seeing Slappy like this! She's always so in control.

  • Slappy is the only sane one in this show.

  • How did skippy survive on his own???? He'd in elementary school!! Poor thing :,(

  • @sesshycat3 Tell me about it. I'm 23 and I feel like I can't survive out there as an obvious reason why I still live with my parents!

  • toot toot there comes thos shrimp boats

  • well, there goes the whole sewage system. Roddy and Rita will be so disappointed.

  • Skippy is so Fucking Cute!

his Voice makes him even more cute!!!

Aunt Slappy is Awesome! though in this episode she is Mentaly ill LOL ^^

  • Shame weekday cartoon blocks have been replaced with talk shows and court shows.

  • Sadly enough all the talk shows in this episode are now all gone!

  • ...I think we have just met Foamy's mother.

  • Didn't think Burbank had any greenery left.

  • I also love Slappy!

  • I love Skippy!

  • Skippy is such a good boy.

  • You don't get cartoons like this any more! Pop culture references in animated shows (well, shows aimed at kids, anyway) are soooo rare.

  • Heir apparent to Looney Tunes.

  • I wish I had seen this before my grandmother had to be admitted to a nursing home; it would've made the transition a little easier :(

  • There should have been a spin-off cartoon starring Slappy and Skippy, but unlike the Cleveland Show which sucked major balls, Slappy and Skippy's spin-off would have been great.

  • Been curiosu about this episode thanks for sharing it

  • Poor sweet skippy.

  • Slappy sounds like the woman from "the accused"

  • poor slappy,

    poor skippy,

    poor hat!

  • Two straight hours of Slappy Squirrel? Maybe if the spin-off ever caught on, darn you failed attempt!

  • @Emerl1000 sadly they never attempted

  • @KingYakko Yeah, I saw him.

  • Whenever I watch modern TV, I sometimes feel as if I am going insane as well.

  • @misspinkpunkykat Well, maybe it's been happening for decades, though I can definitely tell why it's nowadays causing that to happen to supposedly wholesome-minded teenagers and young adults.

  • Note to all you people watching, never watch daytime talk shows or you'll go insane.

  • 3:45 tried that once... not as exiting as you think

  • 1. CHA CHA CHA!

2.hey did anyone notice the warners on TV when skippy walks in?

    3. this is scaring me with Slappy being weird it's making me sad but i will watch it all anyway cause i love her and skippy

  • love the fact that most of the best people who i want to move close to live in burbank california lol, id love to be slappys neighbor

  • @politicsisboring Same here.

  • @Animeforever61 wonder if burbank is anything like that the farthest ive ever been was pasadena

  • @politicsisboring Well, maybe Burbank sounds like a great place but I think it's had some changes over the years by now. I don't travel very much, I'm from Texas and the farthest I've gone was San Antonio and I lived in Clute for a long time but I live in Lake Jackson now. But I see your point.

  • @Animeforever61 san antonio? sounds nice, never been to texas but i have a niece in houston and seein her pics on fb it looks nice. hope to go one day but its hard with out any money. meh, i can dream can't i?

  • @politicsisboring Yeah, you can dream since your free to do so. Hope you and your niece still get to see each other when you two send pictures to each other. Although, with the way the world is with money and everything, it's hard to travel anywhere now.

  • @Animeforever61 no kidding, i barely make it alive on checks from my job along with paying college tuition and helping my family, yeesh its a miracle anyone can survive in this economy, and my niece is one of the many reasons i remain hopeful

  • @politicsisboring I know all of that all too well. I'm working on trying to work more days at my job but me and my mom are trying to work on a way of getting better transportation to my job that's willing to give me a ride anyday I need a ride. So I see what you mean.

  • This is actually so depressing, this episode...

  • now there is an oprah chennal!

  • Rob Paulsen voices the doctor.

  • Yep, Talk Shows can do that to a person... or squirrel.

Very cool episode, and besides the funny parts, it also shows the problems of both patients with special needs and their families.

  • That's a surprise, if only Animaniacs DVD set Volume 4 was released before 2012!

  • This episode's actually pretty sad.

  • For the love of all that's holy make it stop! :'( but it nvr does...

  • Also, I swear, the "She married a shrimp boat captain" show is a reference to Forrest Gump.

  • poor slappy o.o

  • 1:13 All talk shows OWNED!

  • Wait, this was on Nickelodeon AND Cartoon Network?

  • @Lakitu1134 Cartoon Network, yes, Nickelodeon/Nicktoons - I don't know.

  • @heine71 Yes, it was.

  • @Lakitu1134

Yes, but not at the same time. I think Nicktoons was the last channel the show aired on.

  • @AADudley True that's how I know about Tiny toons and animaniacs see I'm a today kid 13 right now but hey a classic's a classic

  • BTW,also download the episode just in case WB pulls this set of videos down.

  • HELLO NURSE!

  • this episode gets sad so quickly...

  • 6:28 Skippy stole Mindy's catchphrase.

  • this is proof...proof i tell ya

    how talkshows cause heavy trauma's

  • 1:41 "It's the end of civilization as we know it." XD

  • That was a VERY dark episode..... wow. Are there any more similar to this?

  • I always knew that these talk shows would rot someone's brain one day O.o

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH I forgot the name of this episode and couldn't find it forever. So dark!

  • Ya know when slappy lost it she reminded me of well ME I am like this everyday

  • 'People who married their pets'? The owners must be human haters. XD

Poor Slappy, had to endure all those dumb interview/talk shows. :'(

Also feel sorry for Skippy, but I'm impressed with his faithfulness his aunt.

  • All right, show of hands: Who thinks Skippy and Dot were meant to be?

  • @michaelsar12

... HANDS IN DA AIR!!!! (:

  • @michaelsar12 Now that's an episode I'd like to see. :D

  • this is a wierd episode...remember it gave the creeps as kid. think i'll watch now!

  • To anyone who's reading this, make sure you download the episode and even put it up so AnimaniacsVol4vids can upload it for the collection of episodes not released yet...

  • That's an accurate portrayal of day time television especially now a days which is why I don't watch a lot of it today.

  • @Johnffrey87 Your right the only good talk shows today are Regis and Kelly and Ellen.

  • @Johnffrey87 SPEAK FOR YOURSELF I WACH TILL I DROP

AFTER ALL NOW WE CAN DO IT A LITTLE MORE THEN

WHEN LOONEY TUNES OR TINY OR EVAN ANAMANIACS WAS ON

  • Great episode so far! : D

  • This is Slappy at her very best. Why didn't she get her own spinoff again?

  • @madgang201 This episode was an attempt at her own Spinoff but Warner Bros. decided play this as an Animaniacs episode.

  • I have been looking for this episode for years. I'd thank you but I'd use up all the necessary characters for writing this.

  • I saw this on FB. Thanks so much for posting it! I've been looking for this episode for awhile. (how did you find it?)

  • You've bassically found a lost episode

  • Great find! Good episode too. This was practically impossible to find anywhere else.
