  • Thanks for all the help I let you know how it goes thanks

  • Thanks for the info I will get the chassis later but on the center diff lock did I need to install the center differential cover please let me know thanks

  • @corvet86 You don't need a diff cover on the center diff. With the diff locker since it is designed for the Nutech line up you will probably need to get different drive cups and probably the center gear....not sure though. You might want to send Scott form Nutech Racing USA an email, he is the US Distributor for the Nutech line up, he also carries a few Smartech cars. I am sure he can hook you up and take care of your needs. Good luck!!

  • And did you see the dual servo chassis for the mega monster and the Titan just search it on the web

  • @corvet86 I have seen the ZMC chassis. I had already did a dual servo conversion on my Titan but the ZMC chassis is definitely nice looking. Also Nutech is working on the TB3 which will have a dual steering set up.

  • Thanks for the info I order a center diff base and the engine mount I will work on the diff locker and the case I will let you know how it goes thanks for the info

  • Hi palm47 I have a Titan but my center diff gear breaks a lot I have a 30.5 ported engine and I can run fast because my gears break can you let me know if you have the same problem and how you fix it thanks

  • @corvet86 Are you running an alloy diff case? I don't seem to have the same issue as you, I am running an alloy diff case in the center as well as in the front and rear. If you are not running alloy diff cases I would highly suggest upgrading them. You can also get a diff locker for the center...Nutech Racing makes one for their 5th scale line up and it should fit in your Titan, you will also need to get the Nutech center diff cups to go with their diff locker.

  • Veery nice truck Man :) COOOOL

  • It's fast, you still got the stock tires in it? Would it wheely on cemented pavement?, how much is the samba pipe? Where you bought it and did you have any mods done to fit the pipe? How did you get rid of the rattling noise of the gears/ clutchbell? What motor did you got in it? Let me know, I'm interested to get one!! Thanks!

  • @bravofratello I still run the stock tires when I am bashing, they work great. I don't think it could wheely. I picked up the Samba pipe from Hobbythek in Germany, if I remember it was around 170 EUR, and it bolts right up no mods necessary. To help with the rattling I upgraded to an all alloy drive train (motor mounts, center diff mounts, ect.) and the engine I am running in the video was a DarkSoul marine head 26cc conversion. You should check out the new Nutech vehicles, hope this helps

  • como jala

  • Love titan lol how fast does it go up to?

    its 28cc motor on it?

  • The Titan as been a great truck for me, I am running a Dark Soul marine head 26cc engine. I am going to be trying a race ported 28.5 soon as I like to change things up every once in a while. Have you checked out the new lineup from Nutech, if not you might want to check them out.

  • i am building the firehammer mt pcs by pcs bought a chassis and now im looking for all kinds of parts message if you have extra parts to sell. i need allot of stuff. shocks, tires wheels and much more message me if u have anything

  • Sorry, but I dont have any extra parts to sell. Good luck with you build, you might want to check out eBay and find a roller it would probably be cheaper than buying it piece by piece.

  • that engine sounds like a scooter

  • Hey palm47, looks pretty cool. Got the same car but looking for the Beetle Body. Any idea where to order the body?

  • Thanks, I really like the look of the Beetle body on the Titan. You can get the body and Davesmotors.

  • so is your Smartech Titan better/faster/tougher than a FG Beetle ????....nice video!!! 5 stars from me :)

  • Thanks, glad to hear you liked the video. As for which is better/faster/tougher that is a hard question to answer, there are too many variable involved to give you a definite answer. All I can tell you is that I dont plan on selling my Titan anytime soon; it is one of my favorite cars.

  • @tkotommygun

..ABOUT ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN "SMARTECH.. I.M.H.O. - I GOT A "THUNDERBOLT", A TITAN", AND A "BOXER"..

    ... ALL FAULTY FROM THE GET-GO - NOW I WON'T TOUCH 'EM WITH A 10'.

    .. THE ASSEMBLY IS ATROCIOUS...

    QUALITY CONTROL NOT IN EVIDENCE.

IF YOU WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET ONE THAT RAN OUT WELL, THEN YOU ARE INDEED LUCKY.

..REDCAT NITRO FOR ME, & NOTHING ELSE!

  • Is this 4WD Carson Gas Devil it doesn´t look like it....

  • It is the Smartech Titan, which is the same as the Carson Gas Devil. Smartech makes them and then they are re-branded as the Gas Devil for Carson. The Titan is 4wd just like the Gas Devil. It looks different because I am using an FG Beetle body on it; I prefer it over the MT body they come with.

  • nice vid, i'm looking to getting into 1/5 scale after running a few nitro's i think i'll be going with the gas devil.

  • This looks like a very good 1/5 scale truck..I have been into nitro for along time, but I want to try 1/5 /Gas..I was at first looking at the HPI Baja Buggy, But, This is making me change my mind..Great Vid..

  • I have the JetPro and the Samba for the Titan and I prefer the Samba pipe. Overall better performance and I really like the rear exit of the Samba pipe.

  • that thing was tearing ass!

  • Slow.!

  • Thank you, I appreciate your thought provoking comment, have a great day.

  • I got it off eBay it is an FG Beetle body part number fg6202. You can also buy one from davesmotors.
