I've read back through page 20 if the comments and I guess I play this like FF1. I just upped my guys to lvl 60 (Cecil to 70) and went and beat him up :D no augments, no healing items, just spells and attacks

I beat III and got everything... then i bought IV and i was so surprised how good it was.

Final fantasy iv starts off slow as a mofo, and i didn't feel like playing. then it picks up about 1/4 into the game.

Then it only gets better (especially when you get to the developer's office lol, that's one of my favorite places).

1 you have to go to missidia castle, and go beyond the crystal rooms and speak with a woman she is gonna give you cry and 2x dualcast

2 to put 3 ppl in fron you only have to invert de party

This boss is A LOT easier than a lot of people actually think, when fighting Dr. Lugae (I just literally beat him 2 minutes ago IN 2 minutes), After he uses the reversal gas curing him hurts him yes? Thats when you just use 2 elixers on him and BAM he's done!

a few months back i was stuck in that part aswell but because now i knew what to do i defeated him easily...

did you notice that whe you use black magic on him it gives him health??? well thats because when he does a move it changes its weakness...

so use cecil or rosa to use white magic 'libra' tat shows you its weakness and it shows you the symbol so use that magic against hm and it will work...

The first form is easy! You can kill the two in the first time:

Utilizate Lamu with Rydia,protect with Rosa and heal.Jump in the Doctor and normal atacks in the Robot.

I love Cecil's plain "Uh-oh" even when they're facing down the Dr. Frankenstein of many years past. I just like Cecil period. I think he's one of my favorite FF characters. Nice fight! I don't do very well on these usually, especially the fight coming up soon where you fight that stupid security system. My party's HP wasn't high enough so it killed them all in one hit.

u shd hav cast slow on them both 1st with Rosa then cast protect with Cecil, this way he hardly ever attacks and wen he dus he dusnt do ne dmg! then just go all out, summon with Rudia and keep attacking the doctor. then focus on the other dude. i killed em without taking a single hit.

2nd fight, he uses reversal gas, use an elixer on him dealing 9999 dmg, then cast Curaga dealing about 3-4k dmg he shd then be dead, if not keep casting curing spells on him xD

If you don't have those cool augments (like me) just use two Elixirs. It's a shame to loose them but that boss is just impossible without those augments!

From giving Palom and Porom a total of three augments. One to one twin, two to the other. After they leave the party for *spoiler* reasons, just go to Mysidia and enter the Crystal chamber. There's a door in the back of it. Just enter it, talk to the village elder...........and voila. You'll also get 2xTwincast, Bluff and Cry augments.

Like my previous post mentions, if you gave Porom and Palom a total of three augments, two to one twin, one to the other, just go to where I mentioned the elder of Mysidia will give the augments to you. I don't beleive there's any time limit on getting them, so you should be able to get them at where you are if you gave them the required amount of Augments.

No. If they've turned to stone, you can't give them any augments. You have to have given them the Augments BEFORE they turned to stone. If you haven't given them any, all you'll get is Twincast.

I've already freaking told you. If you're past the point where they turn to stone, you can no longer give them augments. Meaning, if you didn't give them enough augments before that happened, you CAN NOT get Dualcast unless you start over, or beat the game and start a new game+.

If you have given them enough before that point, go to the temple in Mysidia. In the crystal chamber, in the back left corner is the door leading to elder, who will give the Augments to you if you gave the twins enough.

No need to apologize, I wasn't mad or anything. Generally, when I get mad, it's quite obvious and is followed by lots of cursing.^_^ As for that, I wouldn't say it's worth starting all over solely to get it. It's useful for letting you Slow an enemy, and cast Haste/Shell/Protect in the same turn and the like, but it's not a necessity. You can accomplish the same thing by just having two people, use the two different spells. I say just finish the game and get it in a subsequent playthrough.

Its really simple to do this- beat up Dr. lugae with everyone, heal/buff with Rosa and have Rydia ALWAYS cast Ramuh, done in one minute. Instead of a new Barbanas, the old one simply self-destructs.

You have the key correct? go back a few levels. Theres a section in the middle of one of the floors with a locked door. kill the enemies behind it and watch the cutscene :D

There was also a regular monster (a vampire like creature) called the Barnabas in Dragon Quest 3. Both monsters seem to be an allusion to Barnabas Collins from the 1960s soap DARK SHADOWS.
