Wow, that was excellent!! Your choice of clip transitioning, the color choice of the masking dark red; it's very well done ^^

And as for the emotion behind it, I very much agree with you! I left YouTube for a while, because of the stress over schoolwork; and I do this frequently, and each time, I lose sorta the ambition for making AMVs. Very true, that you need true emotion behind it, that's what makes a video most successful, when you pour your heart and soul into it.

@WideyedCamoflage13 : those who make videos, just to get views and subs, thinking if they add a shitload of effects that it's going to make it better. If the video doesn't make any sense, it won't matter the amount of subs one gets. It's all for attention.

As for those who actucally put emotion in videos, they will be more recognized as a talent, and not a abuser of effects, which sadly I have seen alot on YouTube lately :(

I agree so much. Lots of effects are one thing if the clips work and the song calls for it. But if the clips are random then it defeats the purpose of editing and it doesn't matter how pretty you make it. >:( And the attention

Yes, but those days were the ones that had more heart in videos. I find it great that there is such thing as the Sony Vegas, where you can get greater effects to help bring out more of an idea or feeling you are trying to get across, but then, I don't know what but people I guess get so spazzed out with the effects, that they think that it's going to be great if they add->

@WideyedCamoflage13 : 3672672664483 effects in a 10 second video...like to the point where no one can see the actucal footage before. I remember coming across this person, and looking at there recent videos, which were overdosed on effects rather than the clip placement, and then looking at their older videos with the WMM. I prefered their older ones, because with the WMM, there is a limit to effects, which makes a person look at the clips and story more, than what tinted color or other bullshit

When you start caring more about the effect than the clip underneath, you know you're in trouble. -.- Everyone has their own style, but when people start subbing to heartless effect videos instead of people that actually work hard on what they do, it's just sad. @saharaxwolfie people that go unnoticed because they use WMM, or they don't want to sell themselves out to effects. They sit there with like 80 subbers while the others just keep getting more and more! Not to say that some of the famous AMVers don't deserve to be where they are, in fact, most of them do, but not all. :P I really don't have a problem with most of them because they got where they are by working really hard and CARING about the videos and not just slapping effects on and walking
