  • I prefer the cover by Johnny Cash...

  • I wish those knuckledraggers would stop cheering through such a quiet song

  • Boy the Michiganiacs were treated well this night.

  • @warflynn Folks from north of Detroit--have a great affinity for the mitten. Rock on. I know you will.

  • I love the boss but this goes to prove that once you get cashed there's no going back!!

  • No one sound like the Boss...only a hand full artists are so authentic...Waylon Jennings, Mark Knopfler, Townes Van Zandt....

  • would there be any way that someone knows the tabs to this version? this is the best version i have had yet!!!

  • A rarely playes song..nice version

  • When Bruce wrote this song, there was not a song called "Night of the Johnstown Flood", he just made it up. People have tried to look it up for years. The Rock Creek Jug Band finally had the bright idea to name one of their songs to take advantage of all those searches.

  • Perrineville, NJ is an AREA, much like The Bronx or Queens in New York City. Its actually where Ashbury Park is. Its got a Zip Code (08535), which means its a real place.

  • Perrinville, Washington

  • The Johnstown Flood (or Great Flood of 1889 as it became known locally) occurred on May 31, 1889. It was the result of the catastrophic failure of the South Fork Dam situated 14 miles (23 km) upstream of the town of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, USA, made worse by several days of extremely heavy rainfall.

  • @quint1977 thanks, wikipedia.

  • @quint1977 thanks mate, after listening to Johnny Cash i wondered wat the Johnstown Flood was :)

  • Fine song but there is no "Night of the Johnstown Flood' though Jay Johnston might have played right field the Phillies and there is no Perrineville except in the one stuck in the slobs of Jersey not Canada, no myth.

  • @11xzxzxz listen to the lyrics....this song does not take place in canada...and furthermore, there is no geographical significance to this song whatsoever....it's called creative license.

  • @jdmccallen28 Creative drunk driving license you mean? Take a closer listen.

  • blood on blood you look the other way :-)

  • hahahahahahahaha "youre scarin me lady"

  • @alexsuchapimp

Are you kidding me ? Check out the Nebraska album, its pure awesomeness, best bruce ever did in my opinion :D

  • @alexsuchapimp why do you have to have such a limited imagination?

  • @alexsuchapimp bruce always has been in the "Dylan" family....all of Dylan's friends sound like him..Petty.....Neil..etc lol

  • @DavelovesRealMusic you are stoned. apparently, on very good drugs. dylan's 'friends'. what a doucher.

  • @alexsuchapimp you. are. an. asshole. why was bob dylan trying to be like woodie guthrie? get fucked. music is music.

  • @walterLogan

I'm not being sarcastic buddy. I'm serious. And I'm a quiet man, no need to worry.

  • hey great camera work man. Thanks a lot. A lot of those "amateur captures" usualy folllow the singer but you stayed on the mic so we can see what happens. I appreciate.
