This bill is irrelevant. They can already declare ANY body of water to be a wetland and subject to EPA regulation. This has already been abused in states like Colorado.

The implications of the bill reaches far beyond the "waters", because it includes nearby "activities affecting these waters" even if the flow is once a year in a drainage ditch or rain gutter. Hasn't anyone read the 10 amendment? Congress can not pass laws that are property of the states. Each state controls there own lands. Congress can only pass laws for lands that are owned by the U. S. Territories and if it is not seeded to them by the states legislature, the laws do not apply unless the states agree. Check out the Separation of powers! Bill S. 787 does not control anything if passed! US means Washington D.C. and the 10 sq. miles.
Also - I can get fined if I put topsoil in the gutter outside my house, and it gets washed down the street by the rain into a storm drain, which takes it into the reservoir. Pollution. You can also get heavily fined for pouring oil from your car into a storm drain. Fisheries and Oceans, aka the government. I know one woman who owns a horse barn and is in trouble with them for polluting the water on her land, which in turns pollutes the Elbow River. DUH!! Grow up.

*laugh*! You guys should read the definition of property a bit closer. According to actual definition, we only have land by loan from the government, and that the land can be taken by the government at any time. That is why we pay property tax, that is the "rent" we pay for using the land.
And it is also why our "deeds" to our properties state us as being "Lessee's" to state we are actually leasing the property, and we don't actually own it. (That's not what I believed when I BOUGHT it thought.)

This bill all about clean water. The authors of the video want you to believe they should be free to do *anything* (including pollute, or eliminate) the waters which spend some time on their property before running down stream to your property (drinking water supply, aquifer, recreational areas).
Yes, on the surface this is about clean water. However the bill clearly states that all waters "are subject to the legislative power of Congress." This is the next step in the government controlling the water for its own agenda, ie control. First guns & ammo, now water, banking, next food.

True property ownership means you have an Allodial Title on land. With an Allodial Title you do not owe any property taxes. Anyone that pays property taxes does not own land. They merely are renting it from The State. Ask anyone that stopped paying property taxes what happened to them. The State puts a lien on you property. That's not ownership!

Hasn't anyone read the 10 amendment? Congress can not pass laws that are property of the states. Each state controls there own lands. Congress can only pass laws for lands that are owned by the U. S. Territories and if it is not seeded to them by the states legislature, the laws do not apply unless the states agree. Check out the Separation of powers! Bill S. 787 does not control anything if passed! US means Washington D.C. and the 10 sq. miles.

Also - I can get fined if I put topsoil in the gutter outside my house, and it gets washed down the street by the rain into a storm drain, which takes it into the reservoir. Pollution. You can also get heavily fined for pouring oil from your car into a storm drain. Fisheries and Oceans, aka the government. I know one woman who owns a horse barn and is in trouble with them for polluting the water on her land, which in turns pollutes the Elbow River. DUH!! Grow up.

What's the big deal? Water in Canada is controlled by the Fisheries and Oceans Dept. of the government. Has to be -- if you pollute water on your own property, you could very well be fined, could end up in handcuffs. Reason? it gets into the water table, underground, as will cattle manure, spreading e coli. Doesn't bother me - at least someone is looking after it. Just keep your water UNPOLLUTED and you'll probably be all right. Paranoia will destroya.

This bill all about clean water. The authors of the video want you to believe they should be free to do *anything* (including pollute, or eliminate) the waters which spend some time on their property before running down stream to your property (drinking water supply, aquifer, recreational areas).

The bill from what I read means you are subject to the clean water act on your property, so you can't pour your used motor oil at the edge of you property & if it gets into the groundwater to bad it is my property. This way if it goes downstream & gets in the lakes, rivers, ect it is not OK because you did this on your property.

Look around us today, they have Nationalized the car industry, the banks (and imagine that: they are still FAILING), been working on nationalizing the Police of every state! Great informative vid...btw...this is off-topic, but I'd like to let everyone out there reading this know the Chinese Communist Party has been persecuting 70 million Falun Gong spiritual practitioners for 10 years in China. They are put in slave-labor camps and forced to make stuff sold here. They take organs from them and sell them to rich people. The media doesn't cover it. It must stop. Thanks.

I hope it passes as a Canadian with protected CLEAN water up here, which America needs NOW in some States. I would hate to be liberated from our socialist government that has been protecting wet lands, just to have them raped, by the US for compensation of saving us. All of you recent problems stem from Me Me Me. You cant trust private owners. They only care about money.

You must be nuts. Seriously. The federal government is the largest polluter in existence. The federal government often gives land use to corporations as well. Dont be a fool, private land owners care about what they do to THEIR land and water ways. Federal government can NEVER have that sort of vested interest. Its all about making money and permitting.

So now which is it, So much Gov't control, and Gov't intervention and interference and nothing gets done down there, or they can do things without input from the local community on someones private property . It can't be both ? U must be American, And then I would say Ur right . Lobbyists and Corporation owns the government, there is no real democracy only controlled Anarchy .

Not trying to stir things up here, just hoping you can understand. Many Americans don't appreciate our own government's interference, because they are puppets of a shadow government. Private property is slowly being seized and local communities are losing their "control" as well. And you are right, Lobbyists and Corporations, as well as some global elitists own our government. And We the People of the U.S.A have very little say over what is happening because it is all rigged system.

YOu know ,it was only in the yahoo news last week Big Pharmas dumping tons of pharmaceuticals in our rivers...no one arrested! Hmmmmm Yeah, they are very responsible as the Hudson river polluted by GE all in bed with our government....No one goes to jail....just take the ponds away from the little people who I doubt do any of the damage the government does......
