  • Love great songs about aliens!

  • I thought for years that Rush did this song lol...

  • This was rock and roll's answer to all the funk back in those days.

  • My best friend has the original vinyl. Awesome song.

  • It has been so long since I heard this song, I had forgotten just how much I liked it: And I have never listened to it through headphones before. Absolutely Fabulous!

  • did l. ron hubbard write these lyrics? must be tom cruise's favorite song... classic song, nonetheless

  • This song is so timeless and still cool today. I sounds funny, but its so true when it is said, rock'n roll will never die.

  • @321harold So true

  • I was 13 when I first heard this song in '79 and I loved it, I love it as much as I loved it back then. It always reminded me of Ace Frehley for some reason.

  • children of the sun - elders of the night !!! ... great song

  • The epicness of this cannot be put into words.

  • Great video! Wonderful audio :) LOVE the pics too! You did a really good job!

  • YES!

  • I absolutely LOVE this song!!

  • A W E S O M E

  • I love this song. Be cool and dont let your parents get to you. No matter how you feel right now those feeling will change as you get older. It suks to wait but that is how we learn. Take care and keep up the good work. Your obviously very smart.

  • its just a song!

  • well im 17 and i grew up with this stuff because of my dad and one day ill be goin into the marines and i cant wait to go just so i can fight for my country just like my family and friends RIP James M. Gluff from Tunnel Hill, GA

  • I love this song too, I'm old like your parents haha (born in '59 just turned 50 in June). I was a drummer and played this song in one of the bands I was in back in 1980.

You're good son or daughter I bet your parents are proud of you.

  • Unfortunately no

They haven't even seen this and also I don't even think they are proud of me in the slightest

  • One day you might come to the realization that they were proud of you. My son is 17 & sometimes feels like I'm not proud of him, though I tell him I am & I mean it. I used to be your age you know - it can be difficult even in the best of circumstances.

And even if they aren't proud of you Daniel, you're a creation of God, made in His image & you have unlimited potential to become all you desire, good or bad. Always try to do the the right (moral) thing, & don't buy the lie that God is a fable.

  • I don't mean to preach to you, I just want you to know you're not alone. God will always have an open door for you, through which you can walk anytime you are ready, if in fact you haven't already done so.

And even if you are a non-believer (not saying you are or are not I just don't know) that doesn't change His open door policy. While the song is really cool and in reality their are children of the sun, it's much better to be children of the Son.

    I'll get off the pulpit now . . . . .

  • Actually I'm a very strong believer

and I know that God'll always have an open door for me its just hard to live with my parents whenever they yell at me for the tiniest mistake

    And then there's my grades

It's just hard living with them...

  • You'll endure. Before you know it you'll be out on your own, and you'll probably eventually patch things up with them.

  • @ArakiUzamaki Actually I'm A very strong believer in the Flying Spaghetti Monster and it is through the goodness of his noodley apendages that allow this song to rock!

  • @ArakiUzamaki One day you'll understand. Parents only have ONE chance to raise a child. Didn't figure it out until my kids (at ages 12 and 15) thanked me for being so strict with them as small children as they could now be left unsupervised in social situations. I was speechless. I thought that I had been too hard..

You'll do the same as your Mom and Dad.

Eventually, we all become the people our parents are/were.

  • @juicr500 At 45 I am amazed at my transformation into my Father, lol

  • @ArakiUzamaki Be PROUD of YOURSELF! Consider yourself adopted!

  • @ArakiUzamaki so sad I as aparent would be proud of you no matter what path you chose
