  • Crx and roo...you guys are tools...you two spend way too much time on here...arguing about nothing...

  • Dude is a soccer player at heart. easy as pie for him

  • Please tell me this was preseason. haha

  • Pretty decent kicker

  • I think he'll do a better kicker than a wide receiver.

  • @roo&crx... tl;dr

  • Hey, Ill give you an example of what I'm talking about.. 1984 Orange Bowl.. Tom Osbourne score with seconds left to make it 30-31, Miami.. Osbourne and Nebraska probably win the National Title if he kicks the PAT and the game ends 31-31, but Tom is old school, and he goes for it.. The rest is history.. That moment will never happen again, ever, cause of the advent of overtime, in CFB.. You're probably right, the game is probably better, but it certainly isn't as interesting..

  • I'll let you know exactly how unorthodox I am.. I actually think that overtime should be eliminated, except in elimination games.. There's nothing that makes more more angry than watching a coach gripe about how they never had a chance, cause they lost the coin flip, when they had 60 whole minutes to exact whatever outcome was desired.. Now, I know this will never happen, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't make the game better, to have coaches playing to win, instead of tying and going into OT,,

  • What I said was basically like saying I wish they'd move the goal up to 12 feet, in basketball... We all know it's never gonna happen, but that doesn't mean we cannot talk about it.. Lighten up..

  • Why don't half of you people shut the fuck up. I mean Jesus Christ this is youtube not Jerry Springer.

    Funny move by Ocho Cinco!

  • If he really wanted to he could be a starting kicker

  • @Copperpenny15 Maybe this is something he can do after he gets all old xD

  • Damn that's SMOOTH!!!

  • I don't know Chad, but I like him. I have one question. Is there some issue with his family? I could never imagine not putting my dad's name on the back of my jersey.

  • @trueleroix

From what I understand, he changed his name to Ochocinco with the intention of eventually changing it back to Johnson.

  • I was at this game. Now the Patriots have 2 WR/Ks (Ocho and Welker).

  • hes kicking it with the patriots now

  • I think eliminating specialist, like kickers and punters, would be a good rule change.. But nobody listens to me..

  • @roo7227 You see the problem with eliminating kickers is the fact that field goals often seal the deal. TWO of the Patriots superbowls were won with field goals, as well as the AFC Championship game vs the Raiders in the first Super Bowl year, and there have been MANY MORE. If it wasn't logical to pay people to be kickers, they wouldn't do it. Kick offs and extra points may be something other people can do, but there is alot of importance in having a great field goal kicker.

  • @crx122 I understand what I said is considered kinda crazy.. I just think the game would be pretty cool if, all of the sudden, 35-45 yard FGs weren't automatic.. There would be more decision making involved, then.. More going for it..

  • @roo7227 Well you see the thing is that 35-45 yard FGs AREN'T automatic. There are many missed field goals a year, and when you start talking about some of the crazy weather some of the games are played in, YOU NEED an experienced kicker when the game is on the line. Kicking an extra point and kicking a 45 yard field goal into horrible weather with a huge wind are much different things. Many of the field goals are so difficult that even the best kickers struggle with them.

  • @crx122 Hey, idiot... I was just musing about an idea that i thought would be interesting.. That doesn't mean I need a lecture on a game I've been watching for 35 years.. Especially from somebody from Boston.. And since modern kickers make close to 90% of FGs from 40 yards, in, I'd say "automatic" is a fair description.. Heck, the guy for my team has only missed 1 FG from inside 40 yards DURING HIS ENTIRE CAREER (yes, I can do the all caps thing, too)..

  • @roo7227 It's amazing how you're calling me an idiot, yet you're the one who is totally ignorant. If you've been watching the game for 35 years, and are still that clueless, I pity you. I'd hope you'd actually have the ability to think realistically. Shit, with your thinking, why don't we have rotating quarterbacks where a different player of the team with no experience plays QB every game, since QBs are getting too good? Oh, and for your info, I've never been to Boston in my life.

  • @crx122 You see, this is what I mean.. How is what I said ignorant?.. You've been speaking to me like I'm 3 years old, so I already knew you had this opinion.. I understand, and realize that they're never gonna get rid of kickers, and I understand their impact on the game.. All I said is it would be interesting if there weren't any..

  • @roo7227 Well I wasn't talking to you like you were three years old, I was just speaking my opinion, and being detailed. You chose to be presumptuous that I was somehow condescending you, and deciding to call me an idiot for NO REASON in your previous post, so I called you ignorant for that. Calling me an idiot because I have a very valid and logical point, one related to the rational of winning in the NFL seemed quite ignorant to me.

  • @crx122 What was valid and logical about your point?.. All i said is it would be interesting if there were no specialist, and then you went into your diatribe about how the Pats won 3 SBs on FGs, and kickers are essential (which is untrue), using all caps periodically, like you were trying to lead me to water, or something.. lol.. It's almost as if you're the president of the placekicker's union, or something.. Once again, it's just an idea that I think would make the game more interesting..

  • @roo7227 So let me get this straight, in one breath you admit how the Pats won multiple superbowls from difficult field goals, that was the entire difference maker in the game, in then in the next breath you say it isn't true that kickers are essential? I'm no president of any kicker's union, it seems like I have to the the president of common sense now. With contradictions like that, your argument won't go far. Brady is pretty automatic in clutch situations, lets start rotating QBs now, right?

  • @roo7227 So let me get this right, in one sentence you admit that the Patriots won MULTIPLE Superbowls from very difficult, clutch field goals, and then in the next sentence you say that it is untrue that kickers are essential? You kind of defeat your own argument when you contradict yourself like that. I'm not a president of any kicker's union, unfortunately in this discussion I'm having to be the President of common sense. Tom Brady is too automatic as a QB, right? Lets rotate that as well?

  • @crx122 Did you know that for over 40 years, the NFL survived, and thrived, without kickers.. Paul Hornung was a kicker... And a tailback/fullback/QB.. Your problem is you don't know what "essential" means.. Your POV is kickers make the game better, which IMO is debatable.. Making the game better, or more asthetically pleasing, does not mean essential..

  • @roo7227 Your point is totally moot, honestly. In the day's of Paul Hournung people played multiple positions, yes. The goal posts were also at the front of the end zone, and kicks of 20 yards were very often missed, for all of your "amazing football knowledge," you seem to not know really anything. At one point guys wore leather helmets too, does that matter now? The game over time has became more competitive, people are better. The same happened with kickers, it became a specialty + necessity.

  • @crx122 LOL.. I'm not trying to make any point... You are.. You seem to think just because i think the game would be more interesting without kickers, that I don't understand why there are kickers in the first place.. I understand, perfectly.. All I said was I believe the game would be more interesting without them.. For some reason, you fail to comprehend that..

  • @roo7227 How would the game be more interesting? Again, you have NO point. It would be more interesting because we'd have guys who have very little experience kicking, out there missing a ton of field goals and losing games for their team? Great idea dipshit, let a team drive all the way down the field just to have some random guy try for the kick so it is "interesting" then have him miss it and lose the game for them. I can see why nobody in the NFL gives a shit what you think.

  • @crx122 My God, why are you so angry.. In case you didn't know, this is why I called you an idiot, cause you're gonna bust a blood vessel bitching me out cause I made an innocuous statement.. Over basically nothing.. lol.. Lighten up, man.. And to answer your question, I believe teams would play more aggressively in the red zone, and try and score more TDs, if there weren't specialist kickers.. That's just an opinion, and it certainly could be inaccurate.. It's just an thought, man, that's all..

  • Now... lol.. Go ahead and tell me how I have no point (even though I'm not really trying to make one), and that I'm a dipshit... Oh, and let's not forget to make sure I understand the nobody in the NFL gives a shit what I think (like that's the goal).. LMAO..

  • @roo7227 Well now you're doing nothing but babbling, which it's pretty obvious you've just figured out you're wrong. Your whole point was that the NFL would be more "interesting" if there was no specialty kickers, which I think was thoroughly debunked. I don't see you asking for rotations at QB or any other position to make things "interesting." Great idea, now let someone semi-intelligent present an idea.

  • @crx122 And you're still angry.. lol.. Do you understand that you've been throwing an absolute fit over a 10 word statement that I made over 2 weeks ago?.. You've called me ignorant, and idiot, you've said I'm babbling, and you said you were sure the NFL didn't want to listen to my ideas.. All over an innocuous 10 word statement I posted almost a month ago.. What the fuck is wrong with you?.. lol.. Consider this convo finished, psychotic person.. lol..

  • @roo7227 I'm angry? No, trust me, you don't have the ability to make me angry. I'm an asshole, and have very little tolerance for stupid people, yourself being included in that category. You made an absolutely retarded statement, declaring to the world what a moron you were, and I thoroughly debunked your statement. Like a good ol' politician your next tactic is to go on a tangent about irrelevant things; you know what else has been going on for two weeks? You proving you're an absolute moron.

  • @crx122 OK, I'm gonna try one more time.. My point, in a round about way, is that all of these things have taken the decision making process out of the hands of the head coach.. Being able to rely on very good kickers (on carpet) allows for less aggressive play... Just like having an OT period allows coaches to play for the tie, and OT, instead of forcing them to play the game TO WIN in the first 60 minutes.. I never said it would be better, I just said it would be interesting..

  • And once again, what I said is very much like saying they should move the goal to 12 feet in the NBA.. We all know it's never gonna happen, that doesn't mean we cannot discuss what it would be like if it were.. Now, you can go ahead and say I'm retarded, or stupid, or whatever, but I think if you're honest with yourself, you can admit that I'm not.. And it's not like I really care, anyways.. Relax..

  • @roo7227 So you continue flying around and deflecting like a politician and bring the NBA into this, please keep horrible sports out of this. Trust me, I do think you're retarded, I'm not kidding myself. I think you try very hard to convince yourself that you're not, and obviously it's getting harder and harder. Write the NFL, tell them how kicking is too automatic, so they need to start rotating it. Lets start rotating out the top QB's too, they are too automatic, we want "INTERESTING!"

  • @crx122 lol.. Nevermind, brother.. I tried to bring it back to a civilized conversation, but you refuse to calm down.. I apologize for offending you so much.. lol..

  • @roo7227 I think you just have too much damn time. Everytime I get on and look at the times, I see you replied literally two minutes after I post. Do you prowl YouTube for a living, just asking? Not trying to be a dick, just find it peculiar that you always reply within two minutes, indicating you have a rather large amount of time parked in front of the computer.

  • @crx122 You responded to me first, dipshit.. lol.. Go be an "asshole" to someone else, I'm busy right now..

  • @roo7227 When did I talk about who responded to who first? I said it's sad that you respond every two minutes, meaning you NEVER get off YouTube. For days straight, everytime I log on, I see your responses, sure enough the time marker shows you respond within one or two minutes everytime I reply to you, are you allergic to the sun, or what? Oh now you're busy, huh? Got another YouTube response to make, since you never leave the damn site or what?

  • @crx122 Really?.. All I said was it would be interesting without kickers, and i even apologized, twice about that statement, since it's obviously got you terribly upset, for some reason.. And you're still on here, trying to troll me.. lol.. Are you really this pathetic?.. Do you really have nothing better to do?.. Riddle me this, Batman, is there something I can say, or post, that will appease whatever sensibility I trampled on, so you will leave me alone?.. Or is this the extent of your life?..

  • @roo7227 Oh and by the way, my idea that kickers are a necessity is actually not an opinion, it's a cold hard fact. With the way the salary caps are being stretched these days, and how many players teams are having to cut, to you think every single damn team in the NFL would be paying a specialty kicker if they didn't have to? NO! Unlike you, they are realistic, and know how important kicking is to winning. If some FB/QB/Whatever could do it as well, they wouldn't be paying someone just to kick.

  • dang hes a beast

  • He played soccer in HS. He made Sporting Kansas City (MLS) reserve team
