  • Sean, your a good guy.

  • Great video. I am looking for a dealer here in the US.

  • @SurvivalReality There is a link on their site to US dealers

  • Sean, hope you enjoy your time here in the states. And thanks for not calling us the "colonies".

Since this video is less than a week old, will you tell us the dates you're going to be here, and what your plans are? Will you be doing any on location bush craft videos while you're here?

Please remember, for our safety and yours, we drive on the right hand side of the road, not the left.

Best wishes for an enjoyable visit,

    Rich

    Chicago, IL

  • @Dem0D1ck

My next trip to the US will be for the Spring Pathfinder Gathering June 1st- 6th 2012. I have not made any further arrangements yet. I will be uploading my travel plans on Facebook and twitter when confirmed.

  • ok guys its ok to be leary of the goverment but this nice lil peace of mind dont contain any info they dont already have on you you guys actualy think they dont know everything you do your crazy this device is not fed related it is strictly for medical emergency use the rest is encripted and they dont have any acess

great post sean keepem coming and nevermind the parinoid delusionals on here

they give survivalist / bushcrafters a bad name

  • The usb will open up automatically on any computer. The private folder is not available to view to them.

  • Where have all these paranoid Americans come from? giving the government and FEMA your details.....WTF, these jokers will be complaining about you not taking an AK47 in your EDC,

  • mental! I was just talking about doing this regards the ID on a usb pen earlier, but it's five times the size of that. love it.

  • Today ICE in mobile phones are pretty useless. What happens many times is that cellphones like android and iPhone phones are password protected. They cant be accessed without the password and the paramedics and police do not have the time to try and crack the codes.

Many I have asked do have ICE in their phones AND a password to access the phone. They haven't really thought about that themselves.

I think the the UTAG could be a pretty nifty thing.

  • Sean, I was an EMT as well as a corpsman (us navy medicine) and if everyone had one of these it would SAVE lives that would normally be lost, brilliant carrying it around with you absolutely brilliant.

  • How many gb are these, can you put anything on this, like docs, pictures and so on?

  • @Roboflux I cannot tell you how much space is on the private folder but the whole UTAg is 1.86Gb. With all the information on its only used 14.3Mb

  • to all the paranoid fuckwits, this is about peace of mind , copies of important docs when travelling, next of kin , not a chip under the skin, nice one Sean keep `em coming

  • This is brilliant Sean. Thanks for sharing it with us. Really great idea. I'm going to have a look at their website now.

  • No thanks. I won't carry such a big brother / nanny state personal surveillance item. I value my freedom and personal liberties too much than giving the state/government all this information.

  • @Wicklowwolf I am not giving any government or state this information. This is information that if you travel abroad you will need anyhow. This is just a secure way to carry it. No one can access the information unless I give them the password, and then will not guess it.

  • @seanmulhall how do the EMT GET INTO IT THEN

  • @Wicklowwolf it isnt transmitted to the gov it is personal medical info like on the med alert bracelets medical personel are the only ones that are allowed to access this info these are incase your in a wreck or other accident

and are renderd unable to respond

  • gr8 stuff m8

  • I had a motorcycle accident about 18 months ago and when I was being transported in the ambulance I got talking with the paramedic about my Utag (which was around my neck).

He looked me straight in the eye and said 'Utag???' He had never heard of them and explained that there was no facility in the ambulance to read them and there was no way the hospital would put it near their computers for fear of viruses.

  • @secretscot That's revealing. They market UTag for the motorcyclist. Also they have statements from the NHS saying that they have approved this product. I will still use mine for carrying secure documents when travelling abroad.

  • No, no no! Most guys on here are system denyers. Whole idea is avoiding fema camps and nazis. Epic bushcraft fail.

  • @69Phuket

I dont see your issue. The people you refer too already have all this information on you. I am just choosing a way to carry it to save myself hassle should I ever need it.

  • @seanmulhall I get your point. in fact concede a bit. In 'normal' society the search and rescue would appreciate the info. I was coming from a WROL angle, where their brief would be entirely different. And not to you benefit at all. Good channel and UK craftsmen like yourself are gold. ;)

  • think i rather have my corpse unidentified than carry this

  • the Gestapo back then would of loved having these devices as well...

  • no way man, this is how tyranny sells you tracing devices as "useful" and "friendly", this is a conditioning before chipping you under the skin!!!

    dont fall for this!!!

  • I would say lots of doctors or paramedics would look for "mum" or "dad" or something along those lines before looking for "ICE", the number of people that have ICE would be nothing compared. Great system though, someone with a lot of allergies or meds would definitely benefit from this.

  • I talked and work with doctors and ER Personal. No one will use an USB Stick to identify a person or use medical information on it. Same for Patches with BloodGroup Information. I have contactinformation on a laminated card in my notebook next to my driving license. I live in germany, perhaps its different in the UK. Greetings Ugorr PS: Great YT-Channel!

  • @Ugorr42II I haven't personally spoke to any paramedics but I know was recommended this product by a search and rescue team

  • That's a really good idea! I have a lot of allergies to medications and i recently broke my medical bracelet while outdoors. I'll take a look at these, thanks! One thing though, why are you telling us all that stuff you have on there!?

  • @Cjtouzet To give people an idea of what they could use the private folder for. The items are password protected and encrypted so are fairly safe.

  • With it being a USB stick. Is it waterproof?

  • @ToothMolar Yes it is. According to the website. Not sure about sea water though.

  • @ToothMolar yes.
