  • theres some unreleased music in there that isnt in the soundtrack

  • Actually you hear a few second of the unused "Massive Orchestral Blowout" in this music video, 0:49.

  • the ONLY thing good out of these prequels is john williams! he was the one that turned me onto classical in the first place with 'schindlers list'

  • Screw all the 7 people that dont like this video!

  • Lucas once said you could understand the entire star wars saga with just john williams music and no dialouge

  • @BrickUnit and which music is that...??

  • JOHN WILLIAMS is a god in the world of music

  • JW composes some of thee most exciting music. What an amazing contribution to classical music, to film music. JW is my hero.

  • Great !!!

  • el einstein de la composicion musical

  • I dunno.......I'm a massive fan of Williams. His songs are some of my faves of all time but.....this was one of the few that didn't grab me. He overused "Love Across the Stars" to a point he got so tired of it he barely used it in Episode III and a lot of it seems recycled note for note from Phantom Menace.

  • John Williams is a true genius!

  • John Williams simply makes amazing music

  • Thank you George Lucas, for the best film saga known to man

Thank you John Williams, for the best music known to man

  • Great music for a shitty film.

  • @ jayce79 that is a load of crap, and I would like to see you do anything better. Actually I wouldn't because it would probably suck!

  • Love this!

  • Truly awesome video. Really. Honestly, when everytime i listened to this soundtrack, Across The Stars, it seems like i can really feel it. Its like i can feel how Anakin became from a little innocent young boy to a bad guy. And Padme died in the end. Can felt their love just by listening to this. And its all thanks to John Williams! :)

  • great video

  • John Williams is great indeed.

  • wah i get shivers down my spine at 4:05... john williams is definitely the genius of our time

  • also at 3:19

  • Movies like Avatar , 300 and Christmas Carol really 'o' a lot to this Star Wars chapter that pushed the Digital effects and production to the next level.

  • james camaron made his own technology to make avatar so dont even compare them

  • @maxpower978

Your Kidding right? Please tell me your kidding , well I guess ignorance is bliss isn't it . The whole reason he was able to do this level of revolutonary film and get to this point is because of what ILM has done through the yrs. Thats certainly taking nothing away from Mr. Cammeron & what he has accomplished. In fact he has been a part of those many revolutions in special effect filmaking. Get a clue , kid.

  • @Maxpower978

Lucas pioneered so much of today's effects technology to make Star Wars. Learn before fanwanking.

  • Is a death stick like LSD or something?

  • Outer space doobie.

  • That's gorgeous, I was holding my breath through parts because of the drama~ <3

  • 0:52 is epic!

  • The music is 10000% better than the movie. Had me in tears... thanks for posting!

  • There is a 70 min DVD with clips from all the movies with only music, no speech at all.

  • I get goosebumps every time!

  • @SPARKID ME TOO. such intensity.

  • Now that's Star Wars!

  • one word

  • Epic.

  • awesome

  • John Williams is a genius. The Star Wars music has got me into classical music. Star Wars music is the best though :D

  • This man is genius!!

  • what instrument is that at 0:36?

  • On the screen, or in the music?

    For both, it's tuned percussion.

  • Perhaps you can see the xylophone there?

  • piccalo fluit

  • marimba

  • its the marimba. i mean...if you were refering to the instrument that was in the video. though i believe its the same one heard on the track as well

  • xylophone : )

  • a piccolo or a clarinet i think... not sure tho :S

  • Bells

  • a piccolo.

  • it's a xylophone :)

  • What would have been cool was that the end credits theme would play immediately after Across the Stars.

  • @kongerle....

"You want to go home and rethink your life"

Nothing with his wife or anything... pervert!

  • Comment removed

  • You wanna go home and rethink your life.

  • "Sorry, but these are hard times and we have to release some employees... -" - "You don't have to release me" - "...but we don't have to release you" - "You want to promote me." - "We want to promote you..."

Still love Empire the most out of all the SW movies

  • episode 2 is my favorite movie of the 6

  • episode 2 sucked

  • Agreed. Empire was the shizz!

  • The most beautiful music i've ever heard LONG LIVE JOHN WILLIAMS

  • Pure Excitement! Thanks for posting.

  • Across the Stars is the only good thing about this film. It's like Marion's Theme from Indiana Jones, and a mixture of Hook and ET. But it's completely original on it's own.

This song makes me smile every time I hear it. It's beautiful.

  • The dude under me can't spell psyche!!!!

  • this song is beautiful it will stay forever in my heart

  • I can't help but wonder if anyone will be able to do music as well as John Williams after he's gone.

Until then, long live John Williams!

  • he is the worlds best composerworld could ask for!!!

  • effing beautiful.

  • so much creativity from a single man, John always outdoes himself, hi's an inspiration

  • John Williams is a genius

  • yes, he totally is. The world needs more people like him!

  • @Domudon 'The combined scores of all six Star Wars films add up to music that takes a full orchestra more than 14 hours to perform in its entirety.' - source Wikipedia

    That is beyond genius.

  • @forkie067

What version of "across the stars" is this?

    Have you made it?

  • Im a trumpet player in my school band and of course we dont sound no where near this good but we played 0:14 - 0:30 but it was the original longer version for the original trilogy (4,5,6)

  • one of the best parts 4:22

  • amazing. its a mix between the up modern toon as well as the peaceful and at the same time dramatic And action packed opera/classical theme. its a work of pure genious and i beileve in a couple hundred years it wil be looked upon as something of the equivalence of Beetoven and Mozart as we see them today. Bravo.

  • this beautiful monumental music would deserve it!

  • fantastic video

  • John Williams.. the great composer of our lifetime

  • I can completely anakin. in order to save my mom or ''girlfrined'' i would do close to anything too

  • emagine star-wars without the music...

  • haha yea it would suck

  • Amazing video, amazing music, amazing amazing amazing. <3

  • its amazing how this music brings the star wars saga to life... its an incredible piece of art/work.. whichever you prefer haha..

  • 2:20-2:38 is so beautiful ! WOW

  • And 3:45 to 4:33 - the Across The Stars theme from the end of the 2nd movie. Beautiful.

  • And 0:58 - 1:33.

  • It is ALL beautifull ;)

  • Wanna buy some....death stickssssss?

  • LoL xD

  • So great!!!

  • I love John Williams!!! star wars is the most beautiful movie..

  • 0:78 - x is the best part of the music

  • you mean 1:18 ?

  • Across the Stars is THE most beautiful motif ever conjured!!

    Thank you John.....thank you.

  • i luv the music when anakin and padme come on! *chokes up*

  • Great Stuff , thanks so much. It's fun too notice some little scenes that are'nt in the movie.

  • Great Music!

  • I love John Williams' "Across the Stars". It's a true masterpiece.

  • Lol. Owned.

  • Great video!!!!!!!!!

  • the movies wouldnt be half as good without the music

  • i like how different sections of music easily transition to different sounds making it sound so harmonious

  • This is music for the History!!!

  • fuck you dude, yoda fight scenes are the best of the prequel's saber fights.

  • the saddest modern tragedy ;DDD

anakin losing everything because he wanted to save everything is really dramatic.

    most beautiful film music ever.

  • This is and stays stunning, romantic and pure Williams-gold

  • John Williams is the Bach/Beethoven/Mozart/Wagner of this century. His works will be remembered forever

  • when u say cartoon symphony it reminds me of "primetime toon review" which also has simpsons and family guy, american dad, futurama. my band played it 2 years ago

  • What really sucks is, my version of the OST cant be played on PC or MAC lolz. So i cant put it in my mp3 :/

  • @cantina Haven't you tried playing the cd on your pc? My cd says that too but i can play it on my pc.

  • this is soo great

  • Like many, I feel AOTC was the worst of saga. Decent, but not up to par with the rest. Yet, it has some of Williams' best work. The man never disappoints.

  • Films are serious business. Even crap movies are cultural products that influence us, especially children, but not limited to them.

  • Xenu,

The films are DE-, not PRE-, scriptive. Lucas recognizes that empowered individuals (and cultures) tend to dominate all others. Remember that, despite their mythic themes, the films were conceived during the Vietnam War, and they often portray battles between forces that are technologically and culturally mismatched. Just because it's depicted, doesn't mean it's endorsed.

  • This takes me back to when I saw this movie when I was 9 in '02.

  • John Williams is a genius. Composing all the Star Wars music from Episode I to Episode VI. That by itself is quite a feat that few could replicate.

  • not to mention jaws and indiana jones and harry potter now too.

he's pretty much the guy you go to if you've got the big time movie and his music makes it even more big time. heh.

  • i have never heard a music like that, john williams is amazing... love it

  • amen to that

  • John Williams is great, and his musics too. Without his musics, Star Wars would not be the same.

  • amazing, you can really hear that he's inspired of holst..

  • Really? How?

  • if you listen too some of holst's music (the planets especially) you can really hear the same kind of greatness,

  • Well, I listen to Holst all of the time, including "The Planets," and apart from both being of romantic period style and both having to do with space (although Holst's suite has more to do with astrology than astronomy), I see little musical resemble apart from quality! Could you be a little more specific?

  • @thegoodgeneral Listen to Holst's "Mars" and then listen to "Rebel Blockade Runner", it sounds very similar.

  • @StarWarsFan786 loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
