Its not true that in All Latin America they tray to promote a more white looking person. There are other Latin American Countrys Like Argentina, Colobia, Cuba Where that People are just whiter in genural. They have more Spanish and Euro blood. Mexicans on the otherhand give false image of there people. Most actors from Mexican TV are form South America or Euro actors.

No, but 90% of Mexicans are dark brown skinned. But you wouldn't know that by watching Mexican television. They only seem to show fair skinned or white Mexicans. Gael is gorgeous though.

deffinatly not 90%. If you go to mexico you will see plently of white mexicans. The majority of people in Mexico are white. The aztec/mayan descendents are the people you see in the US because they usualy poor which is why they come here.

I have been all over Mexico. Laredo (of course), Matamoras. Spent a few weeks in Mexico City and Monterey, also stayed a week in Guadalajara. I've spent a month driving through the country .... Jalisco, Chihuahua, Coauila, San Luis, Yucatan, Baja California, Puebla..... White people are there, but they are a rarity. The vast majority are mestizos. But the Mexican media likes to portray Mexicans as white and blond as often as possible. If I were Mexican, I'd be pissed off about it.

There are not a "rarity". YOu simply see more darker-skinned Mexicans because they are more often on the streets and in public markets selling things. The white Mexicans are usually wealthier and thus work in offices as lawyers, engineers, etc.

Yes, racism is at the root. In a way, the Spanish colonists never left, the Criollos simply kicked out the Peninsulares. Yet your assertion that 90% are dark is not accurate.
